A n Instant Pot is a single pre-programmed kitchen appliance that can perform the job of seven different kitchen tools or appliances. It is an intelligent multi-cooker that does the work of a slow cooker, electric pressure cooker, rice cooker, steamer, saut/browning pot, stockpot warmer and yoghurt maker.
The Instant Pot is comprised of an exterior pot with a control panel on the outside and a heating element within. There is also an inner pot in which food is placed and a steam release valve located in the lid. The programmable smart cooking depends on four parameters: temperature, pressure, heating intensity and cooking duration.
Functions of the Instant Pot
O n the Instant Pot panel, there are various settings for different cooking options. The settings indicate the pre-programmed cook times for various types of food as follows:
