Whether you love classical music, pop songs, nursery rhymes, fiddle tunes or hymns, you will be able to find and learn some of your favorite songs in no time with the help of my color coded strings system. How to use the book If you are familiar with my violin tutorials, you know that I use a different color for each string. Brown for G Blue for D Red for A Green for E The other thing you need to know is that each finger of the left hand has a different number. We use 1 for the index finger 2 for the middle finger 3 for the ring finger and 4 for the pinky Each time you see a zero, take fingers off the fingerboard! Its because 0 is for the open string Believe it or not, now you can read music! Shall I prove it to you? Here we go: when you see a brown note and number 1 on top of it, then place your index finger on the G string and play that note. Number 3 and a green note mean that you play with your ring finger on the E string and so on. This system was designed for violin beginners of all ages.

Its intuitive, easy to understand and very user friendly. Give it a try and find out for yourself! Which string is this? Can you read the fingering? Who is Eva? After being labeled as a prodigy at age 7, I was fortunate enough to be able learn from the best teachers of the world. Studying violin and music in Freiburg, winning international competitions and working with amazing musicians like Yehudi Menuhin, Mstislav Rostropovich , Kim Kashkashian, Rainer Kussmaul, Christoph Henkel, Valery Gergiev , Thomas Brandis , Shlomo Mintz , Joseph Silverstein, Janos Starker and many others, shaped me as a violinist and helped me to become who I am today. In the past my main focus was on performing solo concerts, in chamber music ensembles and with orchestras.

Currently I work with violinists and beginners of all ages, which proves to be a fascinating and enriching experience each time. Im grateful for the opportunity to be able to pass on all the violin secrets Ive been able to learn on my own colorful and exciting musical journey. Couple of years ago I created a simple method of playing on the violin, hoping to make the learning process more easy and fun for my young students. Imagine my amazement when I noticed that even the most difficult students started making progress and that adults loved learning with colors just as much as the children! Today I use my books on a daily basis while teaching violin beginners of all ages. Its beautiful to see that learning the color coded strings method also makes the teaching process much easier since the students start enjoying the violin lessons a lot more and feel excited about their own progress.
