About the Author

Gary Lord is recognized internationally as an artist, teacher, author and television personality. He owns and operates Gary Lord Wall Options and Associates, Inc., (www.WallOptions.com) which executes all of his commercial and residential decorative finishing contacts. Wall Options won first place in three Painting and Decorating Contractors of America national competitions and was named best faux finisher in the nation in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 by Painting and Wallcovering Contractor. In 2007 Gary was named to Whos Who in the PaintingIndustry for Decorative Painting by the American Painting Contractor, and in 2009 was honored with Strathmores Whos Who.

Gary also operates Prismatic Painting Studio (www.prismaticpainting.com) which allows him to teach his extensive faux finishing skills to others, nationally and internationally.

Gary has appeared on HGTVs Decorating with Style and The Carol DuvallShow, the PBS show Paint! Paint! Paint! and The Discovery Channels ChristopherLowell Show.
