- 1 large ripe avocado, halved and pitted
- 2 eggs
- Salt and ground black pepper, as required
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh chives, minced
Preparation:
- With a spoon, scoop out some of the flesh from the avocado halves to make a hole.
- Arrange the avocado halves onto a baking pan.
- Crack 1 egg into each avocado half and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- Press Power Button of Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Oven and select Air Fry function.
- Press Temp Button to set the temperature at 350 degrees F.
- Now press Time Button to set the cooking time to 22 minutes.
- Press Start/Stop button to start.
- When the unit beeps to show that it is preheated, open the lid and grease the air fry basket.
- Arrange the avocado halves into the air fry basket and insert in the oven.
- After 12 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the top of avocado halves with Parmesan cheese.
- When cooking time is completed, open the lid and transfer the avocado halves onto a platter.
- Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and serve hot with the garnishing of chives.
