T he science has never been more clearthe path to optimal human health is through a plant-based diet.
Picture a delicious Thai peanut soup. It has a creamy, peanut butter-flavored broth; theres some heat from red pepper flakes; in it, you find chunks of onions, mushrooms, sweet potatoes and cabbage.
Sounds good, right? Youre not the only one excited about this soup! Living inside of you are 39 trillion microbesbacteria, fungi, ancient organisms called archaea, viruses, possibly parasitesand while its hard to imagine them because theyre invisible, they actually outnumber your human cells.
