COPENHAGEN

Sitting in my apartment on a Friday night in Copenhagen. My daughter Lulus out for a jog after weve had dinner and re-watched David Lynchs mind-bending Lost Highway. Otherwise, weve spent the evening as we often do - playing guitar together. I had my old acoustic Levin restored and gave it to her a short time back for her eighteenth birthday - and tonight weve hammered out the perfect laid- back beat so Daughter flows just right from the acoustic guitar. We play a bunch of different stuff and a lot of Pearl Jam, mostly according to what she feels like playing. Shes a child of her times and listens to everything around her, yet some passions have proven hereditary. The same cant quite be said for big brother Tobias, whose musical tastes are less rock-centric. Hed rather listen to Chet Baker, John Mayer or Kanye West. But hes born and bred with rocknroll, gets Led Zeppelin, dabbles occasionally in harder stuff, loves Into the Wild and can hit every note of the fingering in
