It assists health in many ways like reducing cholesterol, eases inflammation & takes care of skin health. On the other hand, protein packed cottage cheese has substantial health benefits. It is fat free and thus helps in weight management. Also helps to build bone str ength. Here I am introducing a healthy and oil-free Pinwheel Pepper Ro llers Ingre dients Green bell pepper long thin sliced 20 chopped pieces Yellow - photo 3 Ingre dients Green bell pepper (long & thin sliced) 20 chopped pieces Yellow bell pepper (long & thin sliced) - 20 chopped pieces Red bell pepper (long & thin sliced) 20 chopped pieces Cottage cheese / Paneer (long sliced) 20 chopped pieces Dash o f salt Cumin powder 1 te aspoon Chaat powder 1 te aspoon Sandwich bread (white) 10 slices Tomato ketchup 1 cup Method of prepa ration Trim the edges of bread and keep them aside Dry roast cottage cheese slices on a hot pan till their they turn slightly br ownish Take them off the flame and sprinkle a dash of salt, cumin powder, chaat powder and mix it gently so that cottage cheese doesnt break Sprinkle a dash of salt & chaat powder on the bell peppers and mix it thor oughly Now take a trimmed bread slice, flatten it using a roller.

Place 1 or 2 pieces of cottage cheese and 2 or 3 pieces of green/red/yellow bell peppers. Apply little water on 2 opposite sides of the bread Hold the bread slices on either sides with hands and roll them gently so that it doesnt break in-b etween Repeat the above steps for rest of the bread slices Pinwheel Pepper rollers are ready Introducing you to my very own and innovative recipe called Crushed Popcorn Upma. This upma is made of crushed Popcorns tossed with veggies. Popcorn is kids all-time favorite. I have tried giving it a new look and feel with crushed Popcorns. Popcorn is simply a type of whole wheat corn which pops out when the corn is put in on high temperature and thus the name popcorn.

Popcorn is considered as famous snack time especially during movie time! But equally, it carries many health benefits like it aids digestion due to its rich fiber content that comes from whole grain & helps reducing choles terol. Ingre dients Popcorn plain 4 cups Onion finely chopped 1 cup Groundnuts - photo 4 Ingre dients Popcorn (plain) 4 cups Onion (finely chopped) 1 cup Groundnuts cup Coriander (chopped) cup Green chillies (choppe d) 2 Red chilli powder 1 te aspoon Tamarind Pulp cup Sugar 1 te aspoon Water 1 cup Oil 4 te aspoon Mustard seeds te aspoon Urad dal (white lentils) te aspoon Jeera / cumin seeds te aspoon Turmeric powder te aspoon Asafetida (hing) 1 pinch Salt as per taste Method of Prepa ration To begin with, crush popcorns to form a coarse powder. You can crush it or grind it in mixer. Keep this popcorn powder aside Prepare seasoning by heating oil in a small pan. Add urad dal and groundnuts, stir it continuously till urad dal turns brown in color Sprinkle mustard seeds and allow them to splutter. Add cumin seeds & turmeric powder, give it a goo d stir Add chopped green chillies and add a hint of asafetida.

Add onion and saut till they turn trans lucent Put the flame off and allow it t o cool In a big vessel, take popcorn powder. Add red chilli powder, sugar, salt & mix i t well Now add the seasoning (prepared above) and mix the popcorn powder nicely w ith it Add tamarind pulp & mix it thoroughly. Sprinkle water as required. The mixture should be moist and dry. Do not add access water Popcorn upma is ready to eat Note: Optionally, you can use either curd or lime juice as a substitute to tamarind pulp to get that tangy taste Malai (Fresh cream) is most widely used cooking ingredient in Indian kitchens. It tastes divine! Butter, Malai, Groundnuts is all you need to make these rolls.

It takes no time to roll them into creamy heavenly tasty malai rolls. A generous portion of groundnuts ignites instant energy and deals with hunger pangs. Groundnuts are rich in proteins & helps fight many diseases. Butter is good in Vitamin A & boosts energy whereas malai is good fo r skin Ingre dients Wheat flour 1 cup Cream Malai 1 cup Roasted Groundnuts 1 cup - photo 5 Ingre dients Wheat flour 1 cup Cream / Malai 1 cup Roasted Groundnuts 1 cup Red chilli powder 4 te aspoon Sugar 2 te aspoon Asafetida (Hing) te aspoon Garlic clov es 2 Salt to taste Milk 1 cup Butter 1 tabl espoon Method of Prepa ration In a bowl, add wheat flour with milk & knead the dough. Keep it aside t o rest In a mixer jar, grind roasted groundnuts, red chilli powder, salt, sugar and hing. Grind to form a coarse powder Take a small portion of the dough and roll it out as a flat roti and roast it on a hot pan.

Sprinkle little oil while roasting. Keep the roti ready Take a roti, put a teaspoon of butter & malai (cream) each on it. Spread it evenly Sprinkle 2 teaspoon of roasted groundnut chutney and gently spread it over th e roti Roll it nicely and malai roll is ready. Garnish the rolls with fresh cream with chopped cor iander Wrap it in aluminu m foil Rusk is a hard biscuit which is dry in nature. Its a crunchy treat! Dipping it in a hot tea or eating with jam are very common ways of consuming rusks.
