Introduction

They are predominantly Mexican or Tex-Mex food that you and your guests are sure to love! Try out the starters, drinks, entrees and desserts as you catch up with the show. Lets go!
Chapter 1: Drinks to Get the Party Started!
1. Martinis
This has to be the number one drink served at Los Pollos Hermanos. Serving Size: 1 Cooking Time: 5 minutes Ingredients:
- 3 ounces gin
- ounce vermouth
- 1 dash orange bitters
- 1 lemon twist
Instructions: Add the gin, vermouth and orange bitters to a glass and mix. Serve with the lemon twist and enjoy.
Wine goes well with Mexican food! Try this! Serving Size: 1 Cooking Time: 5 minutes Ingredients:
- 2 oranges, chopped
- 2 pears, chopped
- 2 lemons, chopped
- 1 cup berries, chopped
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 cups red wine
- 4 cups brandy
- 1 cup soda water
- Ice cubes
Instructions: Add the red wine, brandy, soda water and ice cubes to a pitcher and mix. Toss in the oranges, pears, lemons and berries and combine. Add the cinnamon and sugar and mix. Serve and enjoy.
3. Beer Cocktail
Well, we know what Saul drinks in the desert.
But dont worry, this recipe is only going to make your guests want more! Serving Size: 1 Cooking Time: 5 minutes Ingredients:
- 12 ounces lager beer
- 2 ounces lime juice
- 1 tablespoon salsa juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Ice cubes
Instructions: Add the lager beer, lime juice, salsa juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and ice cubes to a glass and mix. Sprinkle the paprika on top and serve.
4. Michelada
Here is a Mexican version of Bloody Mary known as Michelada. Your guests are sure to enjoy it. Serving Size: 1 Cooking Time: 5 minutes Ingredients:
- 2 ounces vodka
- 4 ounces tomato juice
- 2 teaspoons horseradish
- 2 dashes tabasco
- teaspoon pepper
- teaspoon paprika
- 1 parsley sprig
- 1 olive
- lemon wedge
- 1 celery stalk
Instructions: Add the tomato juice, horseradish, tabasco, pepper, paprika and vodka to a glass and mix.
Serve with the celery, lemon wedge, olive and parsley.
5. Coffee
Here is something to fix the hangover from all that drinking. Serving Size: 1 Cooking Time: 10 minutes Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee powder
- 1 cup hot milk
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons sugar
Instructions: Add the hot milk, instant coffee powder and sugar to a saucepan and boil. Serve with the cocoa powder sprinkled on top and enjoy.
If tea is more your taste, then here is a rose tea recipe. It will surely refresh you and your guests. Serving Size: 1 Cooking Time: 10 minutes Ingredients:
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon rose extract
- 1 tablespoon rose petals
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions: Add the water, rose extract, sugar, rose petals and lemon juice to a pan and boil. Strain, serve and enjoy.
7. Apple Juice Mocktail
Odernik said he was made to drink apple juice in the infamous scene.
Serving Size: 1 Cooking Time: 5 minutes Ingredients:
- 1 1-inch ginger knot, minced
- 24 ounces apple juice
- 10 ounces ginger ale
- Ice cubes
Instructions: Add the ginger, apple juice, ginger ale and ice cubes to a jug and mix. Serve and enjoy.
Chapter 2: Starters and Main Courses
8. Wedge Salad
This salad is a delicious starter to your party. Serving Size: 4 Cooking Time: 10 minutes Ingredients:
- 1 lettuce
- 4 bacon slices, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 tablespoon chives, chopped
- 1 cup blue cheese dressing
- cup cheese, crumbled
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions: Chop the lettuce into quarters and add one to each plate. Add the bacon slices, cherry tomatoes, chives, blue cheese dressing, cheese, salt and pepper to a bowl and mix.
