Highly recommend for anyone wanting to recharge their family gatherings or just wanting to become more thankful for the events in their lives.
The Thanksgiving Handbook makes you stop and think about the importance of tradition not just for traditions sake. It gives you tangible ideas to take a holiday that can become mundane and routine and turn it into a meaningful gathering.
Its a book that anyone could use as a tool to find more meaning and thankfulness in everyday events.

homemaker and mother of two children
I was told about The Thanksgiving Handbook and decided to see if maybe it had some ideas on how to make our Thanksgiving more meaningful. As I read it, I discovered what was missing from our gathering together. The author presented simple ideas on how to make the giving of thanks the center of our holiday. I highly recommend it, especially to families with children. The kids loved to be involved with what is suggested in the book.

I love this little book with a big message. We can never be thankful enough for the blessings of family, friends, and the many things all around us. This book will give you some fresh ideas and motivate you to make all the holidays even more delightful. I have purchased several copies, as they make great gifts!

I have enjoyed reading Roberts art-form of The Thanksgiving Handbook. It brought to me a new challenge that daily gratitude is an adventure with connecting to our Creator. I found important keys that uncover fresh perspective that reveal our loving Father Gods intentions towards us. And finally, it gave me tools on how to better connect with His image inside of each of us. I can wholeheartedly recommend it!

T he creation of a book starts with an idea and a blank sheet of paper. The next phase requires passion about the subject, discipline and a considerable amount of time alone. Then comes discouragement, doubt and writers block. That is when the value of a support team comes into play to keep you focused on completing the project.
For me, it starts with my lovely wife, JoAnn. She believed in what I was doing and why, understanding my need to retreat to my mountain artifacts room to get the proper words on paper. I also had the support of my four kids who knew what I was up to and gave me supportive words.
The next big step is finding a trustworthy publisher and a team of professionals who share your desire to get the book into the hands of the intended audience. The team at Author Reputation Press actually found me and I am thankful to God for making that connection possible. The key people at Recognition were Jason Collins and Scarlett Ryder. I thank them for their persistence and ideas for the book. Amanda Armstrong, my literary consultant, was a vital link in that connection with her belief in the book and in my writing. When writing a book, you need outside voices to keep your confidence up and the juices flowing. All of these fine people made up my support team.
My thanks to God for inspiration and taking me deeper into the beauty and power of giving thanks to Him for all things. May the reading of this book confirm for you your desire to become increasingly thankful in your life and in your daily walk on this marvelous planet, our temporary home.
