1) Start your Kindle Device.

2) On the main screen click: Apps.

3) Click: Store.

4) Search the App name in the top search box.

5) Click on the Free/Download button and wait for the app to install on your device.

Stop whatever youre doing, because youre probably doing it wrong. Before you do anything significant in the game, you gotta know how to edit. Click the start button on your computer, go to Programs>Roblox>Roblox Studio. Click My Roblox and then Places. Click edit.

Great, now youre in the Roblox Studio. Click Tools. If it happens to say xTools dont freak out; click it anyway. Now click View>Explorer. Then click View>Properties. Both of these tools are vital, so remember where they are.

Lets start with Explorer.

1) Workspace is basically the game itself. Blocks are the children of the Workspace.

2) Lighting directs how Lighting works. More on that in a bit.

3) StarterPack is where you put the tools you want your player to have at the start of the game.

4) StarterGui GUI stands for graphic user interface.

5) Debris is used solely in scripting. If you want to make a block appear, disappear, appear, then disappear again, and repeat youll use the Debris.

6) SoundSystem controls the sounds. We wont be going into this one however, because its difficult to navigate and easy to mess up.

So lets say you want a new block. If you recall, a block is a child of the workspace. Children are essentially something that is part of something else and the workspace is the parents. Got it?

You can click "Insert" (The "Insert next to "Tools") and select a block from there. Click the Insert button (next to Tools and select a block. (Side note: you can also use scripting to do this, but it takes a long time, so why bother when you have an easier way to do it)

So now that you have a block, what do you do with it?

1) Color the block. ROBLOX supplies 64 colors you can change the blocks color to.

2) Change the blocks material. ROBLOX offers 9 different materials: Slate, Ice, Corroded Metal, Diamond Plate, and Foil. Concrete, Wood, Plastic, and Grass.

3) Make the block transparent. Basically you make your block see-through.

4) Give your block a reflection. Its exactly what it sounds like, however, like transparency, this only works on Plastic blocks.

5) Name your block. Enough said.

6) Position your block.

7) Velocity. How bouncy is your block?

H) Anchor it, or make your block unmovable.

I) Make your block intangible, or not.

J) Lock down your block, so you cant select it.

K) Friction. Self-explanatory, right?

L) Change the shape of your block.

M) Change the size of your block.

N) You can also change the surface of the block, or the texture of it.

And this is only a fraction of the things you can do. There are many more.

i). The Resize tool resembles a blue plus (+) sign. You can drag the bubble to make your block bigger or smaller.

ii). The positioning tool allows you to fit blocks into tiny crevices. It is an orange plus sign.

iii) Lock, anchor, color, and material are all various ways to anchor, lock, color, and change the material of the blocks.

DECALS

There are many ways to place decals on bricks. The simplest way is to click insert next to tools, then go to the decals. Select a decal, or create your own decal.

To create a decal go to MyRoblox, click stuff, click decals, and then click create. Follow the instructions to create a decal.

A mesh is an oddly shaped block. There are several types of meshes. To make a mesh, click insert, then object, then mesh type.

The different mesh types are, CylinderMesh, which makes blocks shaped like a cylinder. The BlockMesh -makes blocks look like blocks. The third type is SpecialMesh which shows you many different types of meshes. Inside the special mesh are these mesh types: wedge, head, torso, sphere, and

FileMesh

A FileMesh is a mesh created by users. Roblox no longer allows the creation of new FileMeshes anymore. Make sure you try all of these meshes out!

A GUI is a 2 dimensional object that appears in front of the camera. Its a complex thing, but to give an example one GUI is your Health.
