Chris Bailey is a Principal Systems Developer in the Research and Development Division of SAS Institute Inc. He is currently working on e-commerce solutions with emphasis on Java and distributed programming. He formerly co-authored a proprietary language called SCL and developed a grammatical analysis system while at AT&T. He has a degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and studied Mathematics at the Universitt Heidelberg in Germany. He now lives and works in Cary, North Carolina. ()
Carl H. Burnham is a Web developer and hosting consultant, with more than 15 years of information technology experience in the public/private sectors. Previously, he was senior network administrator with Healtheon. Mr. Burnham is founder of Southpoint.com, a travel destination guide. He is coauthor of Professional JSP. ()
Valentin Carciu is the Unix System and Informix Data-Base administrator for Lazare Kaplan, Inc. He has been heavily involved in developing a complex software package using Informix for the companys plant in Botswana, Africa. This Unix system supports a diamond-cutting factory with more than 500 workers. Mr. Carciu currently is responsible for the analysis, design through implementation of a complex interface between the Botswanan system and Lazare Kaplans New York central office applications. ()
David Dodge, Vice President, Professional Services. David joined Idapta in April 2000 and offers more than 22 years of experience in the field. Recent positions include director of business development for Ballantyne Consulting Group, and vice president of professional services for Internet Security Systems, Inc. (ISS), where David was tasked with establishing and growing ISS national consulting capabilities. He was also U.S. vice president of ERP integration services for IBM Corporation. At IBM, he built and managed an organization of more than 1,200 consultants. For more than 12 years, David was a senior principal for American Management Systems, where he was responsible for new technology consulting initiatives. Charles Fisher is a Systems Analyst at a national media company based in the Midwestern United States. Under the UNIX platform, he has served as webmaster, system administrator, and developer. Mr. Fisher has a degree in electrical and computer engineering, and has published Red Hat Linux Administration Tools with McGraw-Hill. ()
