Those around you are your greatest support team and contribute to your success at work. How will you connect with loved ones on a regular basis so that they experience Oases as well?
During a scheduled time, sit down with a family member and ask, What, to you, would be a meaningful activity for us to do together? To aid the brainstorming process, avoid editing or responding as they share ideas.
After brainstorming the initial list, for each item, ask, Why is this activity meaningful to you? and write a brief answer in the second column. For more information, review .

Resources
Personally, Im a bottom-line kind of guy an entrepreneur at heart. This means that this book wasnt written in an academic style. That was by choice. A book about having fun should, after all, be fun!
Yet, in addition to the case studies from my personal clients, youll notice that a lot of research went into the creation of this book. In many instances, studies and articles that werent referenced directly still had a significant impact in shaping the philosophy of this book.
Some readers may want to dive deeper into the studies and the thoughts of great minds that influenced this book. Thats why my team created a Resources section at PowerofHavingFun.com. There youll find links to dozens of web pages, including the studies mentioned in the book.
Also on that site, you can download PDF files of the work-sheets mentioned in this book.
