Bisexual Women in the Twenty-First Century
Bisexual Women in the Twenty-First Century has been co-published simultaneously as Journal of Bisexuality, Volume 2, Numbers 2/3 2002.
The Journal of Bisexuality Monographic Separates
Below is a list of separates, which in serials librarianship means a special issue simultaneously published as a special journal issue or double-issue and as a separate hardbound monograph. (This is a format which we also call a DocuSerial.)
Separates are published because specialized libraries or professionals may wish to purchase a specific thematic issue by itself in a format which can be separately cataloged and shelved, as opposed to purchasing the journal on an on-going basis. Faculty members may also more easily consider a separate for classroom adoption.
Separates are carefully classified separately with the major book jobbers so that the journal tie-in can be noted on new book order slips to avoid duplicate purchasing.
You may wish to visit Haworths website at...

Bisexual Women in the Twenty-First Century, edited by Dawn Atkins, PhD (cand.) (Vol. 2, Nos. 2/3, 2002). An eclectic collection of articles that typifies an ongoing feminist process of theory grounded in life experience.
Bisexual Men in Culture and Society, edited by Brett Beemyn, PhD, and Erich Steinman, PhD (cand.) (Vol. 2, No. 1, 2002). Incisive examinations of the cultural meanings of bisexuality, including the overlooked bisexual themes in James Baldwins classic novels Another Country and Giovannis Room, the conflicts within sexual-identity politics between gay men and bisexual men, and the recurring figure of the predatory, immoral bisexual man in novels, films, and women's magazines.
Bisexuality in the Lives of Men: Facts and Fictions, edited by Brett Beemyn, PhD, and Erich Steinman, PhD (cand.) (Vol. 1, Nos. 2/3, 2001). At last, a source book which explains bisexual male desires, practices, and identities in a language all of us can understand! This is informative reading for a general audience, and will be especially valuable for discussions in gender studies, sexuality studies, and men's studies courses. (William L. Leap, PhD, Professor, Department of Anthropology, American University, Washington, DC)
