We acknowledge and honor the traditional peoples of the lands on which we live - photo 5

We acknowledge and honor the traditional peoples of the lands on which we live, write, make magic, and weave community. We hope that the work of Reclaiming and our communities might help to bring healing to the earth and her peoples. We acknowledge and respect all indigenous elderspast, present, and emerging.

We honor and acknowledge the immeasurable and immense body of technique - photo 6

We honor and acknowledge the immeasurable and immense body of technique, process, lore, and ritual craft woven together into the entity that is the class known as Reclaimings Elements of Magic. We are grateful for all the classes that have existed through the years and to all who have developed and taught this content, from Diane Baker and Starhawk in 1980 in the Bay Area to Canadian feminists to WitchCamps all over the world.

We acknowledge those who have gathered to facilitate and participate in Elements of Magic in living rooms, attics, halls, paddocks, forests, and churchesincluding queer mens classes, womens classes, childrens paths in the redwoods, and teens drawn to empowerment and witchery. Elements of Magic has traveled from the United States out as far as Perth, Australia; Somerset, England; and Germany, Iceland, and Guatemala.

And we know that this work will develop, deepen, and live as it continues to be taught worldwide and with each person who takes a step into this work and who dares to open this book.
