L ook in the mirror Who is staring back A princess And she is you Youre - photo 6

L ook in the mirror! Who is staring back? A princess. And she is you! Youre growing up, life is changing, and youre excited to see whats going to happen next. At the same time, youre being placed in newand sometimes confusingsituations. Im sure there are some days when you feel like shouting out loud, I love my life! and other days when you want to crawl under the covers and not come out until Christmas.

Lets face it, being a princess is not as easy as some might think. What should you do if someone hurts your feelings? Or what if you are having a bad day and say something that you later regret? What is a princess to do? !

I have some wonderful news for you. Thats where grace comes in. What is grace? Grace is Gods free gift of unconditional love poured out on all His princesses. That means you are as loved on your good days as on your bad days. It means that there is nothing in the entire world that can keep you from Gods love or keep His love from you. The best news of all is that when you are Gods princess you dont have to get it right all the time. Being Gods princess, is not about being perfect, its about being perfectly loved. So whether you have all your ducks in a row or whether your ducks went to the fair, ate too much, and fell asleepyou are loved, you are loved, you are loved!

And now... drumroll, please... lets take a look at all the things a princess might need to know.

A royal gown might be perfect for an elegant party, but it sure makes it difficult to skate. Thats why, whenever possible, a princess considers where shes going and what shell do before choosing her clothing, shoes, jewelryeven hairstyle. Then she makes sure everything is clean, fits, and is ready to go when she is.

The Lord makes me very happy. All that I am rejoices in my God. The Lord has covered me with clothes of salvation. He has covered me with a coat of goodness....

Every spring and fall try on clothes, hats, shoes, boots everything. Its fun to start with your own closet before going out to look for new clothes. Ask your royal advisors to help you decide what still fits. Give whatever doesnt work for you to someone who could really use it.

Mix and match

Take what fits and pair it with other pieces in your closet. Start with a shirt. What goes best with it? Pants, jeans, maybe a skirt? If the top has a heavy pattern, stick to a solid color on the bottom; if the top has a solid color, try a pattern on the bottom.
