ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Corie Kline is a professional artist who runs her own painted furniture and mural business called Youre Art!. She received her BFA with Teaching Certification from Bowling Green State University and then officially began her artistic career as an art teacher. After starting a family, she became a stay-at-home mom and began to paint for clients on their walls and furniture.

Corie exhibits and sells her painted furniture at art shows and has painted murals in private homes, businesses and schools. You may view her portfolio at www.youreart.com.

Corie lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with her husband, Jared, her twin daughters, Celia and Mallory, and her youngest daughter, Marin.

DEDICATION

This book is first dedicated to my mom, for giving me my first how-to craft book at age nine and saying, Here, see if you can make these. Her artistic talents rubbed off on me, and my love of art stems from her constantly being thrilled and impressed at whatever I create. And secondly to my dad, for giving me patience, precision and the eye for detail. Thank you for being such wonderful parents and creative people!

A charming lighthouse dresser is a beacon for a sailboat wall mural.

This playful nursery scene features trompe loeil window scenes of a puppy playing in the sunshine and sleeping in the night. Enjoy the view from a coordinating painted rocking chair.
