My regular and, I hope, new readers will be somewhat familiar with my style. I have published my horoscopes from 2010 onwards with a new publisher. However, I need to point out that the zodiac itself does not change. The qualities and the predictions for each sun sign are unchanged. Since the author/astrologer is also the same, the style and language are therefore bound to be similar to what was seen in earlier books. Any perceived similarities are merely coincidental. Moreover, forecasts for previous years no longer have any relevance, and copying from them would be an exercise in futility.

Ancient Indian thought traditionally and historically quantifies long spells of time according to yugas, each of which is approximately twelve years. For example, the present era or yuga we are living in is considered to be the yuga of kali (Kalyug) in which all kinds of iniquities, sins, malpractices flourish. There is a reason for this little preamble. I wrote my books for my previous publishers for more than one yuga sixteen years or so. It was time for a change. Remember, great philosophers have said that change is the only constant in life. However, my changeover has resulted in some degree of acrimony and heartburn. Perhaps it was necessary to accomplish it. Whatever it may be, I hope that all these factors will not affect the loyalty of my regular readers or the interest of my new ones. Ultimately, you are the ones who matter. Now, having crossed eighty years of age, only the future of the world excites me. Before my eyes close and I go to meet my boss, Ganesha, I hope to predict world peace and compassion. Thats all. I dedicate the new, changed version of my book not only to my Lord Ganesha, as always, but also to all my readers, both old and new, and hope you enjoy it. The content astrology is as old as time itself.

Ganesha says that the world-famous scientist Brian Cox predicts that our cosmos will one day shut down. It will be the end of all of us. Even if he is right, your Ganesha devotee sweetly replies:

Yes, this may probably be our greatest achievement. Reason? We will not go down fighting, screaming, shouting, hollering, raving at the cosmos. We will go down singing and dancing and sweetly fulfilled. We will be human and happy. That will be our greatest achievement. Dear Readers, you are free to agree or disagree.

My Lord and Master Ganesha says loud and clear, Love and serve Humanity and Mother Nature. I see the future. Therefore, I am happy that my prediction about Vidyadham High School which served very poor students, and which had closed down reopening has now come true, thanks to Rohini Rao, Dr Usha Nair and others. It is of more value than the Best Astrologer 2013 Award conferred on me by the Russian Society of Cosmic Healers on 7 January 2013. My 2013 annual horoscope book was translated in the Russian language and was exhibited by the Russian Vice-Consul Dementiev at the Russian Centre, Mumbai.

Also, I have been included as one of the eleven persons in the book Change Your Life, published by Random House and Penguin. Being human, it gives me sweet satisfaction. I am now eighty-three (born on 11 July 1931). I also know that after a few years it will be somebody else who will help to change the world. I know that nothing lasts forever. But I also know how to enjoy the moment to the hilt. That is the secret of happiness. Other achievements, for whatever they are worth, include Libas International, Pakistan, Outlook, 5 November 2012; plaque for me and my son Nastur from Dainik Bhaskar, 26 December 2012; chief guest at the annual prize-giving ceremony of Maharana Mewar Educational Institution, Udaipur.

Bejan cares, Daruwalla dares. Therefore I am sticking my neck out again and saying that between July 2013 and July 2014 the seeds of lasting peace will be sown. I admit I may be wrong. But I must take a stand for humanity and peace. That is my karma and dharma. I am prepared to pay the price for it.

Let me conclude from my 2013 book: Bejan was on NDTV Profit, CNBC Awaz, TV 9, India TV and he made it absolutely clear that despite setbacks India will be the superpower of the twenty-first century and from July 2013 or so there will be an upturn for the world. MARS: Body, ego, brother, force, technical education, arrogance, anger, tamas (ignorance), blood, blood relatives. Energy produces power and power is Mars.

MERCURY: Buddhi, intelligence. The whole universe is covered by intelligence. Intelligence is essential for education, discretion, business dealings, and business acumen. Also younger siblings and friendship.

JUPITER: The Jeevatma, Jeevakaraka, preacher, guru, children, money and nobility.

SUKRA: Wife, Jeevakaraka for females, luxury, vehicles, bhoga or materialistic pleasures and learning.

SATURN: Karma, profession, lethargy, lazy, slow moving.

RAHU: Apasavya Karma, poison, pain, foreign, unethical things and materialism.

KETU: Binding, wiry, imprisonment, trying for mukti, rejection of materialistic pleasures.

(Rahu and Ketu are called destiny breakers while the moon is considered a destiny modifier.)

Summary and Guidance

The above two poems speak about romance, love and beauty. The reason is very simple. It is that Jupiter, the planet of prosperity and spirituality, will be in your fifth angle of creativity, joy, happiness, love, songs, laughter, fun and frolic in life. In other words, Jupiter will make you dance with joy and delight. For artists, actors, astrologers, singers, musicians, dancers, and research scholars, this is a truly wonderful time. Pisceans are very creative and human. The finest examples are Einstein and Steve Jobs. I have no need to say more.

Jupiter will be in your sixth house of work, rewards, employment, pets, colleagues, servants, health and hygiene, loans and funds, debts and thefts.
