ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
D ennis would like to acknowledge Michael, whose vision and humor make writing a book like this on a tight schedule bearable and, at times, enjoyable. Thanks also to the folks at McGraw-Hill who shepherded us through the effort: Megg, Stephanie, and Jill. Finally, thanks to our agent, Carole Jelen, for making the introduction.
Michael would like to acknowledge Dennis (of course), our editors, and our agent, and to offer special thanks to Adam and Tonya Engst and the rest of the TidBITS staff and the Control Freaks who made it possible for him to devote the time he needed to work on this book.
