I cannot offer you a twelve-step program, but what I can offer you is a book with oodles of ideas for utilizing those panels you bought years ago that are still stuffed in the back of your closet. Dig them out, rev up your sewing machine and lets get quilting!

In an effort to go green like the rest of the country, I went digging through my old totes of fabric for inspiration. In the recesses were many, many panel pieces for dollhouses, books, aprons and many other things already printed and ready to sew together. Not only can I now make all these items, but I can also buy new, high-quality, interesting and artistic panels from almost all the manufacturers of quilting fabric. This book is an effort to give you inspiration to find uses for all those beautiful new panels now available and also for those panels that have been hidden in the back of the closet for years. Whether kitschy, fun, memorable or just wacky, these panels can star in all types of quilts. They can be layered on a baby quilt, a full-sized quilt or incorporated in any type quilt you want. This book will offer you ideas in different sizes utilizing different techniques and will help you reduce that stash!

I knew the walrus panel was going to come in handy some day. I also thought the adorable
