Marcio Amaral - Creating Luck: Transform Your Living Space and Your Life with a Simple Formula

A natural medium, Marcio Amaral started developing in 1991 as a healer and bereavement counsellor at Stockwell Spiritualist Church, then joined the closed circle of the church to develop as a professional platform medium. For many years Marcio worked as a personal counsellor and healer on a one-to-one basis, helping people to overcome many difficulties and to accept themselves and their lives. He continued his training at the College of Psychic Studies. He was also part of the closed circle at the prestigious London Spiritual Mission, and now trains with Anthony Kesner in an advanced class alongside many very gifted mediums.

Marcio became interested in feng shui studies after meeting a consultant whilst working to put himself through university. At that point he realised that he had found his true cause in life and left all studies to follow these teachings and take an accreditation with Roger Green. Between 1999 and 2002, he ran a series of corporate feng shui workshops in the UK.

Now with two accreditations, Marcio belongs to the Chue Foundation representing Brazil, and also consults in Mexico, USA and London. He helps clients both with feng shui and the three energies, and with his mediumship expertise, which includes their personal emotions. This dual approach makes him unique among feng shui consultants. He is now furthering his studies with Great Grand Master Chan.

Marcio frequently demonstrates his mediumship on a charitable basis in many churches around the UK, helping to raise awareness of life after death and the spiritual movement. He is Ambassador for the charity Nosso Lar in Limeira, Brazil, and raises funds for many animal and childrens charities in the UK. In Marcios view, social contributions are paramount to a successful karmic life. The variety of spiritual studies and the relationship between energy and spirituality has always fascinated Marcio. His Creating Luck workshops help people to shift their thought patterns, to see life as energy and to become more independent emotionally.

The idea behind writing this book is to bring out the happiness in people. I think we should always try to find the good in everyone and everything. Sometimes we will meet people who try to complicate life and we may get frustrated, but in my view life is simple and it is our desires that make it complicated. Still, life is eternal and I need no further proof of that. My training as a medium has been supported by Anthony Kesner and my fantastic classmates at the College of Psychic Studies in London. I also have to thank my teachers of feng shui: Roger Green, Great Grand Master Chan, Master Kajal Sheth and Jillian Stott. They all helped me to realize what first started as a dream.

I need to acknowledge the charisma and friendship of Darren Thomson and Lizzie Hutchins. I do believe that the best relationships and friendships are the ones where you have no secrets from each other and you can always be yourself. In those associations you have no right to judge, but you have the right to worry.

There is no use in connecting to people if you cant share, and that is why I have to say a huge thank-you to everyone who gave me support when writing this book.

One thing we all really need in our lives is peace, so heres one final exercise:

1. Find a space to be alone. Play relaxing music in the background and go and lie on the floor or carpet.
2. Let your mind flow as you breathe slowly, programming your thoughts to take you where you want to go.
3. Relax into the peace this brings.
