A Guide to Blazing

By Tom R Sabor

Weed, The People

The Topics discussed in this book are by no means meant to be taken as Canon. Instead, theyre the building blocks to your own educational path. Over the coming few chapters, were going to learn how to craft the perfect joint time after time. Were going to lightly brush against international laws regarding Cannabis and were going to have a brief look at the history of the plant, going into a few uses regarding industry, Medicine and Recreation.

In this guide, youll learn to roll the perfect joint, time after time and investigate other ways to smoke. Even for one who partakes not in the leaf by reading this guide, youll have a greater understanding of these Ancient Customs, Traditions and histories.

Though this book may be is good foundation of knowledge. I highly recommend it to be used as a reference to guide your own journey. If one thing matters, its knowledge and were all on our own journeys to attain such. When youre stoned, your mind will move on a different level to how it normally works. Youll think of things from different perspectives. Dont let these opportunities go to waste. There is more knowledge in the world than it is possible to learn in one lifetime. But most of all, an active brain is a happy brain. With this, you can overcome most any obstacle.

Smoking weed doesnt make a person lazy. This misconception is merely propaganda used in the 1930s to cast a bad light on the plant. Throughout this book were going to dispel some of these myths by exploring their origins. The fact is, Cannabis does influence the body, but nowhere near as close an effect as alcohol and unlike alcohol, youll still maintain the ability to think more clearly. There are far fewer illnesses linked to cannabis than there are linked to alcohol and Alcohol shares every side effect marijuana does and more.

Everybodys chemistry is different. Some people function better than others. As a prime example myself, I stopped drinking altogether in 2015, but carried on blazing. I found that cannabis worked better for my system than alcohol did. When drunk, I was a completely different person. Not so nice, not smart and always getting into to foolish situations. When I gave up drinking and switched to cannabis only, although I was still getting my high I was less aggressive, more attentive and a whole lot nicer. There were also fewer gaps in my memory from blackouts and I gained the ability to approach my problems from different angles that I could have never thought of before For others it might be different.

Addiction! I may hear some people say. Cannabis is psychologically addictive. You will also feel physical side effects when going cold turkey. But I can say that Alcohol is as addictive as Cannabis, if not more. It has more of a negative effect on the brain than and heightens aggression whilst taking away the inhibitions that make one human. However, you wont notice these effects until many years of drinking, after its too late. More people die each year of Alcohol poisoning than anybody has died from Marijuana. It has been known that going cold turkey from many years of heavy drinking can cause death. This is because over time Alcohol replaces the natural fluids in your liver, and hence needs a constant supply of alcohol to maintain the Liver, something Cannabis does not. There was a story I heard a few years ago of a Hip-Hop artist who tried to smoke himself to death as an experiment. The man ended up hospitalised with Carbon Monoxide poisoning from the tobacco in the joints he was smoking. This should give you an idea about how dangerous Cannabis really is. First thing he did when he got out? Rolled himself a joint. It is said that youre more likely to die from falling off a horse that you are from smoking Marijuana.

Lastly, you are your own person. You have the power to choose if you want to blaze or not. Likewise, you have the power to choose if you want to drink or not. You have the power to choose where you want to eat. You have the power to learn. The purpose of this book is not to preach about how great Cannabis is above anything else. This is my personal life choice, not necessarily anybodyelses. Though I quit drinking, I dont condemn anybody that wishes to drink. I come from a family of heavy drinkers. My main goal by writing this book is to share my knowledge with you, the reader. From this, I really do hope you take what you learn in this book and expand on this. Despite all my years Blazing, I learnt new things researching for this book, but Ive merely scratched the surface of this proverbial Iceberg. Were on a lifelong path to gain knowledge, and even a small piece of knowledge can go a long way.

Chapter 1 - A Brief History

Cannabis has a History as long as humanity, and like human history has been recorded only so far back. It is speculated that the plant itself originally dates back as far as 12,000 B.C and was likely used by early humans for various remedies and rituals. Theres evidence all over the world that suggests its use among many different cultures, many different tribes and many different peoples for as long as people have existed and it has found use in as many different areas of civilization ranging from Medicine to Recreation to Textiles and has seen use by some of the biggest names in History. Its very likely that the plant flourished in nutrient rich dump or burial sites of prehistoric Hunter Gatherer tribes. Its possible that the acids, nitrates and other chemicals that are released from the decomposing bodies keep the ground fertile for the Cannabis to grow and may be linked to the spiritual beliefs behind Weed. In fact, Burned seeds have been found in Kurgan Burial mounds dating back as far as 3000 B.C and Tombs of Noble people of the Xingjian period as far back as 2500 B.C, though Ancient weed contained very little TCH (Tetrahydro cannabinoid) being thought to contain less than 5%.

Cultivation of this plant likely started between 4000-5000 B.C on the Steppes of Asia (The areas around Mongolia and Siberia.) Though its Medicinal and Psychotropic nature wasnt discovered for a long time after. Around these times Cannabis was grown as a source of food high in protein, and in China was regarded one of five grains. It was grown and harvested on an economic scale. Cultivation of this also allowed the content of THC to be greatly increased. By the 21 st Century Farmers were producing crops with THC count upwards of 30%. Between this time Hemp, a plant sharing Cannabis Genus but very low in THC and very high in CBD was discovered to have a range of highly beneficial uses to people and society and was commonly used in every day like from home to industry and most especially in to Medicine. Common uses of this time for Hemp were inclusive of Clothing and Paper.

The first recorded use of Cannabis in a medical sense date back to roughly 2737-2696 B.C and was recorded by the Chinese Emperor Shen Nung. The Emperor Shen Nung is also iconic for being the person who invented Tea. Naturally, the herb would find its way into experiments by the Emperor to see what brews a good cup and it was Emperor Nung who first heated the Cannabis bud releasing its special properties, hence discovering the psychotropic and pain relieving properties, and was not attributed to a random person somewhere in the bush smoking random plants as popular belief seems to be. Instead it was in fact heated in boiling water brewed into Tea. There is a science regarding this, as eating raw cannabis wont do anything to get you high. Well talk about the science and mechanics of Cannabis in a later chapter. Though this is the first recorded instance, it is widely unknown about cannabis use in Greek, roman, Egyptian and Scythian Civilisations which happened, but not in the way we know today.
