Pressure Cooking With The Preset Buttons
A ll the pressure cooking preset buttons cook at the same pressure (50kpa or 7.2PSI) except the canning button. It doesnt really matter which button you choose.
Sauting or browning can be done by leaving the lid open and pressing any of the present buttons. This is done with the CHICKEN/MEAT button in most of the recipes in this book. You can as well use the SOUP/STEW button. If you choose a preset button with a default time lower than the cooking time for any recipe, simply use the Time Adjustment button to increase to the needed time. Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes Servings: 4 Ingredients: 1 cup steel cut oats 1 1/2 cups milk 1 1/2 of cups water 1 cup shredded carrots 1/4 teaspoon allspice 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 tablespoon of maple syrup 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup shredded coconut 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts etc) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Coconut cream or half-and-half, for serving Directions: 1. Insert the inner pot into your Power Cooker. Add the oats, milk, water, carrots, allspice, cinnamon, maple syrup, salt, coconut and chopped nuts. 2. P reparation time: 15 minutes Cooking time: 13 minutes Servings: 2 Ingredients: 1 apple, diced 1 pear, diced 1 plum, diced 3 tablespoons coconut oil 2 tablespoons honey 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds 1/4 cup pecan pieces 1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut Directions: 1.
