Id also like to acknowledge my friends from Adat Shalom Hebrew School and Los Ang eles Hebrew High School (a.k.a. The Get-Along-Gang) : Elizabeth Gordon, Stephen Gordon, Adam Kirsch, Amy Ojena, Sarah Silverman, Leah Solomon, and Daniel Stein-Kokin . Id like to acknowledge my honor ary Jew friends , who, though not Jewish themselves, are more Jewish than many Jews I know : Alyssa Au, Sally Chiu, Christopher Lee, and Alicia Teeter. I would like to acknowledge (but not thank) all the anti-Semitic websites on the Internet that keep extremely good tabs on who is Jewish in the world, making my job of compiling ranked lists much easier.
Adam Louis Diament was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved to California with his fam ily before he was one year old. He attended Adat Shalom Hebrew School and Los Angeles Hebrew High School for his Judaic studies, and Venice High School for his secular studies.
He earned a B.A. in Religious Studies with an E mphasis in Judaism , and Molecular and Cell Biology with an Emphasis in Genetics from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1997, a Ph.D. in G enetics from the University of California, Davis, in 2004, and a law degree from the University of San Diego , in 2008. He is now a practicing attorney and resides in Los Angeles with his wife Tiffany and daughter Joanna.
In his spare time he attem pts to complete various lists. Some of his proudest list accomplishments include seeing every movie from the American Film Institutes Top 100 Greatest Films of All Time , and IMDBs list of the Top 100 Grossing Films of All Time. He has also been to every city in Los Angeles County (88 cities), Orange County (34 cities), San Diego County (18 cities) and Ventura County (10 cities), where he has taken a picture of himself with something interesting in each city, and posted his adventures on YouT ube. He hopes to one day make it to all 482 cities in California.
