Type3 Vegetarian
Mostpeople when they hear the term vegetarian will of course think of someone whodoesnt eat animal flesh of any kind including fish. However these people docontinue to eat eggs and dairy products. In fact what these people arereferred to, as is being a lacto ovo vegetarian. There may however be somepeople at your barbecue who are lacto vegetarians, meaning that they willcontinue to include dairy products in their diet but not eggs. Whereas those knownonly as a ovo vegetarian will of course continue to eat eggs but will excludedairy products from their diet.
Type4 Vegan
Thisis the strictest of all diets that vegetarians will follow. These are the kindof people who will not eat any kind of meat or fish and will not consume eggsor dairy products. Furthermore they wont eat any processed foods because theyare likely to contain ingredients derived from animals.
Type5 Raw Vegan
Suchpeople will only eat foods that have been unprocessed meaning that they haventbeen heated above 115 degrees Fahrenheit. The people who follow this particulardiet believe that when food has been cooked above this temperature it loses alarge amount of the nutrients contained within it and so is harmful to theirbodies.
Type6 Macrobiotic
Thisis considered by some to be the healthiest of all vegetarian diets one canfollow. It requires the eating of unprocessed vegan foods such as fruits,vegetables and whole grains. However unlike some of the other vegetarian dietsmentioned above it does allow the follower to eat fish occasionally. They dohowever avoid the consumption of sugars and refined oils. Also when followingthis diet there is a lot of emphasis placed on the eating of Asian vegetablessuch as sea vegetables (seaweed) and daikon.

Recipe 1 Spicy Grilled Corn On The CobRecipe

Teaspoon Lemon Juice Per Ear Of Corn
Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Per Ear Of Corn

Instructions
1.Get the barbecue started making sure that you place the grill 6 inches abovethe heat source, as you want to cook the corn on a medium heat.
2. Once the barbecue has heated up place the corn on the grill and cook until thecorn starts to char and you can insert the tip of a knife easily into a kernel.
3. After removing from the heat drizzle each ear of corn with lemon juice beforethen sprinkling the cayenne pepper, chilli powder and salt over them. Thenserve to your guests.
Recipe 2 Smoked Corn On The Cob
Tomake this particular recipe you will first need to soak each cob of corn inwater for a few hours whilst still in their husks. Once the corn has finishedsoaking rub with olive oil and green onions before placing them on the barbecueto cook for an hour so. It is important that at no stage do you remove thecorn from the husks.
Ingredients
6 to12 Ears Of Corn With Husks Still Intact
60mlOlive Oil
1Bunch Green Onions Finely Chopped
Instructions
1.Gently pull the husks of the corn back without removing them completely. Thenremove any silk from inside. Once this has been done place the husks backaround the corn.
2.Now take each piece of corn and place in large pan of water ensuring that they fullycovered by it and leave there for a few hours.
3. About 20 minutes before you intend to remove the corn from the water get thebarbecue fired up. Remember to add some woodchips to the barbecue to help smokethe corn when you place it on the barbecue.
4. After removing the corn from the water gently pull back the husks again andthen rub over the olive oil and green onions and place the husks back aroundthe corn. Now place on the barbecue and close the lid. Leave the corn to cookfor between 1 and 1 hours.
5. As soon as the corn is ready remove from the barbecue and serve to your guests.Let them pull back the husks and enjoy the aromas that are released.
Recipe 3 Grilled Sweet Potatoes WithPeaches

Ingredients
4 Sweet Potatoes
2 Peaches Sliced
825ml VegetarianBaked Beans
75grams OnionsDiced
Salt And PepperTo Taste
Instructions
1. Wash thesweet potatoes and pierce the skin several times with the point of a knife.Then place the papers on a paper towel before placing them in a microwave andcooking them on high for 10 minutes or until they become soft.
2. Take eightpieces of heavy weight aluminum foil that have been cut into 12-inch squares.On to this place a half of a sweet potato from which some of the flesh insidehas been removed in order to make a narrow space.
3. Now in abowl combine together the baked beans, slices of peach, onion and the sweetpotato you scooped out from the skins earlier. Add some salt and pepper toseason before then placing this mixture equally in to each of the potatohalves.
4. Once youhave filled up each potato bring up the sides of the foil and seal. Make surethat you leave some space between the top of the potato and the point where thefoil is sealed to allow steam to have room to expand whilst the potatoes arecooking.
