Whisk the shortening in amedium mixing bowl until it turns creamy and fluffy.

Gradually beat in a cup ofbrown sugar, followed by the peanut butter and continue to whisk until wellblended. Crack a couple of eggs ina separate bowl along with the remaining brown sugar and beat to mixthoroughly. Slowly beat it into thefirst creamy mixture to blend thoroughly and set aside. Stir the baking powder aswell as a dash of salt into the flour ad sift into a separate bowl. Fold a small portion ofthe sifted ingredients into the wet mixture until well combined and whisk in about of vanilla-infused milk. Repeat the process untilthe ingredients well combined into a uniform batter.

Divide the batter amongthe prepared pans and pop into an oven preheated to 350 degrees C. Bake for half an hour until the cakesare baked thorough and the center is set.
