Sophia Chang - The Baddest Bitch in the Room

GZA Sophia and I are very close. We met in the early nineties before the first Clan album came out, and we are still just as close today. Sophia is bright and articulate and an awesome judge of character.

Sophia managed me for a few years and has been involved with some of my greatest accomplishments. She was the person who pushed me to lecture. She believed so deeply in me. Though there were times when I moved at a snails pace, she had the patience to watch a flower grow, and I am very grateful for that. As a manager, she was always concerned with the heath and well-being of her artists. All advice and constructive criticism always came from a place of love. As a friend, she is loyal and solid as a rock.

Sophias relationship with the Clan is one that has existed since the beginning of our career. Her photos alone are documented proof of that. Shes personally witnessed the ups and downs, the good and bad, the ins and outs, the accomplishments and failures, the growth and development.

Its important for Sophia to tell her story because her journey is a long and very interesting one. I am sure that the readers will be inspired, moved, and motivated by it, and I am proud and happy for her.

GHOSTFACE Sometimes things just happen, I just put it in the Most Highs hands. It just clicks and boom, its like youre home. Once we connected spiritually, its like you were right there. Other motherfuckas might not have got that far, even though we knew them. I met motherfuckas twenty-five, twenty-six years ago but you right here. Most of those other motherfuckas, I dont even talk to a lot, but it seems like we stay together out of these twenty-five. Its like no questions asked, its like youre family. And when you feel like family, you automatically look out for each other. It went like that, and after the first time, you were just there all the time. Like, shit, we here twenty-six years later on a couch. And everybody dont get that. From everybody back then, I dont think theres another person around thats like you that like we close to like that. You never change. You come in one way and leave that way. Youre like sunshine, I never see you go nowhere with an attitude, never super down, your energys always the same. Thats why we love you so much. You only show us one side: the sunshine side. If you ever show us another side, then I know somethings wrong. I will always be here for you. Youve always been here for mesince day one. Any way I can give that same energy back. Its whatever. When youre friends, you do things without thinking. Soph, you know how it is. We love you. Its just real shit.
