    10.00am

    Steep hills, stupendous views

Stroll across Washington Square then climb Telegraph Hill to Coit Tower. Be sure to view the 1930s murals inside before ascending the elevator for one of the citys most magnificent views. Afterwards, walk down the Filbert Street steps with exquisite views of the Bay, to Montgomery Street (or as far as Sansome Street if you feel ambitious) and back.

    11.30am

    To Chinatown

Meander down Grant Avenue past one-of-a-kind boutiques in North Beach to Chinatowns quirky shops. Then feast on savory Chinese dumplings at Delicious Dim Sum (752 Jackson), where the food is really good.
