His skin wasnt soft in the slightest, it had the texture of some desert dwelling reptile, so much so that the nails of her fingers were unable to penetrate during their overly vigorous lovemaking; he traced the jagged edges of her mouth with his tongue, undecided upon this beautiful half-demon, half-angel whose belly he was laid upon; she struggled to break free of his restraints, like a rat in a trap whose only option to free itself was to gnaw through its own ensnared limb; he desired her, he teased her and she hated him for it.

Introduction
It wasnt the pigtail pulling, doggy-style sex on the straw of some deserted barn. The Nazi state wanted it cold, informal, orchestrated and biological, and in fitting with the hypocrisy of which it preached.

It can be said that Adolf Hitlers Third Reich, although pertaining to convey the racial and moral purity of its brand of Aryanism to the greater world, was a bloody, corrupt, nihilistic, fratricidal and purgatory regime, and that its sexual excesses compared favourably with those of the universally despised and feared Roman emperor, Caligula. Yet, today, attempts that are made within a literary context to explore both fact and rumour regarding the sexual morality of the period, particularly where Hitlers sexuality is concerned, are often met with fierce ridicule and condemnation from some modern historians. But why?
The objective of this work was to seek those who witnessed, either through first-hand experience, twitching curtains, a partially closed door, or private conversation, the innermost mechanics of Nazi sexuality. Since the end of the Second World War only a handful of historians have attempted any serious analysis of the Nazi perception of sex. Rumours of abuse, perversion, sadomasochism and sexual occult practices seem to have served only to muddy the waters further, making the separation of fact from fiction a difficult endeavour. To find the truth one must explore beneath those muddy waters, blurred even further by the passage of time, and challenge modern historys inability to see beyond the academically acceptable narratives of life under the Third Reich.
Sex Under the Swastika: Sex, Scandal and Erotica in Hitlers Third Reich aims to analyse the attitude toward sex from the pre-Nazi years of the Weimar Republic through to the Third Reich, with its contradictory, sometimes confusing, attitudes not only to the perceived roles of males and females within the Reich, but with the act of sex itself.
x Sex Under the Swastika
Previously unpublished material from sources which include ordinary citizens, through to the sons and daughters of former SS staff, some of whom were on the personal staff of Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler and Reinhard Heydrich, Sex Under the Swastika pulls back the clean white sheets to reveal the truth behind the sexual activities of one of the twentieth centurys most evil empires.
Austrian-born Klara Busch, a close confidante of Eva Brauns youngest sister, Margarete, reveals what Margarete Braun has told her is a true account of the sexual relationship between Hitler and Eva. The story is documented here for the first time.
It is ironic that even within a totalitarian regime that professed the virtues of a national community, where strength, health, fitness and blood purity were core Nazi values, and every individual played their part, there was a furtive undercurrent, an almost parallel universe of necro-coital fixation, where those in power, together with their lapdogs and subordinates, were free to pursue affairs, engage in paedophilia, and indulge in every possible expression of lust, sexual excess and fetish, as they pleased.
Over the past thirty-six years I have researched primarily the social history aspects of Adolf Hitlers Third Reich, and I have been privy to all manner of previously unrecorded revelations. Some of these have been not only sexually explicit, but of such an abhorrent nature that I had absolutely no idea what could be done with them. But these disclosures kept creeping into the interviews I was conducting with a significant number of no-longer-young German men and women, over the years. It is these unsolicited revelations that prompted the idea of Sex Under the Swastika as a literary work. For me, personally, all the justification I required to produce the synopsis for this book was the full support of my publisher, Pen & Sword Books.
Despite the graphic and sometimes horrifying accounts recorded here, this volume is certainly not intended as some form of cheap humour and/or titillation. The subject of sex in Hitlers Third Reich is no laughing matter, as the reader of this book will discover.
Chapter 1
Sex Before the War
Well in advance of the opening salvo of the Second World War, Jews in German society were seen frequently as the perpetrators of the sexual immorality that seems to have defined Weimar social culture throughout its post-First World War existence. But of course, Jews were a convenient scapegoat and eventually bore all the blame and consequent wrath for every ill that had descended upon German society since 1918.
However, it is evident from stories of the burgeoning nightlife and social scene in Germany in the early 1900s that it was not just Jews participating in the pleasures of the flesh and other excesses that church leaders would later proclaim as exclusively Jewish diseases. It was quite the contrary. The world society of the 1900s by its very nature was a decadent culture. This is revealed all too clearly in the personal writings of Joshua H. Studding, the son of a wealthy American gold prospector. In 1910 Joshua was looking to invest in a friends business venture in Berlin and gives the following detailed, explicit account of an evening out in that city:
