Shlomo Ben-Ami. Professor of History, Tel Aviv University. Author of The Origins of the Second Republic in Spain (1978) and Fascism from Above: The Dictatorship of Primo de Rivera (1983).
Frances Lannon. Fellow and tutor of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. Author of Privilege, Persecution, and Prophecy: The Catholic Church in Spain 18751975 (1987) and editor (with Paul Preston) of Elites and Power in Twentieth-Century Spain (1990).
