Pierre Guislain, a lawyer and economist by training, is Principal Private Sector Development Specialist at the World Bank's Private. Since 1984, he has advised many governments in Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe on the design and implementation of privatization programs. In his current assignment, he promotes governments on competition and private participation in infrastructure sectors.
