AMERICA IS FIGHTING A SECOND CIVIL WAR for the heart of this country. This book is about how we on the Right can win it without firing a shot.

The long political battle between Conservatives and Liberals has turned into a much uglier and dangerous form of conflict, even open violence at times. There is little common ground remaining when every aspect of life has become polarized and politicized. That is not going to change any time soon. If we dont marshal our forces and learn how to operate effectively in this new type of warfare, we will lose to the activist Left.

It will take major changes to the political, professional, and cultural institutions we have relied on for half a century. They have failed us. We must build better organizations more suited to the battles we are currently fighting. We have the fundamental advantage that our principles, which come from Americas founding and God, are far better than theirs drawn from Socialism. But, we must have the proper troops, weapons, strategy, and tactics to win. Working together we can build a path to victory.

Im a team player. Politics and governance is a team sport and Ive fought for and defended our team even when I was unhappy or disillusioned with it. It has always been far better than the alternative. Now its time to face the fact that the current structure of the Right isnt up to the task at hand. Our enemy is very good at what they do so we need to up our game to beat them.

Thats not to say the institutional Right as a whole has failed. It will always have one of the greatest victories in human history to its credit, defeating the Soviet Union in the Cold War without firing a shot. That was a conflict with the potential to end in nuclear Armageddon, killing everyone on the planet. The free countries of the West led by the political will, military might, and economic power of the American conservative movement did that. The world should be forever grateful.

There has also been a long-simmering, internal Cold War between Liberals and Conservatives since those days as well. The problem is only the Left has really been acting like it. They want to replace our Founding principles with Wokeness, the newest brand of Socialism. The Right says if it aint broke, dont break it. But we have not moved to a wartime footing.

They have recruited, organized, and deployed their forces with a shared mission of fundamentally transforming America. They truly believe America is a fatally flawed nation that must be destroyed so a socialist paradise can be built on the ashes. They are wrong, but they were winning until just recently.

The past five years have seen our internal Cold War flare up into the first stages of a Second Civil War with Left and Right substituting for the North and South.

They are zealots and this is not just politics as usual to them. They are convinced we on the Right are evil and must be stopped. They have lost the ability to agree to disagree. If you are on the opposite side of an issue from them, they condemn you a racist, White Supremacist, misogynist homophobic hater, and the list goes on. They are not willing to coexist with you any more than they would tolerate Adolph Hitler. It is their secular religious mission to demonize, destroy, and eradicate us. They do not want to coexist with either the Judeo-Christian values that formed the basis of Western Civilization or the actual religious believers who make up much of the Right. The sooner we understand, acknowledge, and act accordingly, the better chance we have to survive.

The Second Civil War is the battle of freedom vs. state control. Lets pray it doesnt turn into a full-on shooting war, but a look at the past year shows were well down that path.

The Left continues their totalitarian pursuit to marginalize and crush anyone who doesnt toe their party line. With history as a great predictor of the future, regimes based on Socialism never worked well. The oppressed rise up. Those of us on the Right will not quietly or passively submit to the boot of state control the Left is aiming to bring down on our necks.

Winning this second civil war while avoiding open conflict is the purpose of this book. We have avenues open to us to fight back without violence. They are not as glorious as shouting Wolverines! as the righteous resistance like the kids in the movie Red Dawn. The options we should pursue fall well short of armed insurrection, which avoids any legal complications.

We have the winning ideas. We will prevail with them but to do so we will have to fight much smarter tactically and strategically on both offense and defense.

We will examine three things as we plan our counteroffensive.

delves into the history and development of Americas internal battles after World War II. In the late 1940s, both Left and Right chose missions and built institutions to carry them out. The Left chose domestic policy and the Right took national security and business.

We were fighting a Cold War against the Soviet Union and simultaneously an internal Cold War at home. Well see how the Left was very successful in their covert efforts to revamp our entire social structure and culture. Well also examine the course of the institutional Right. Then look at the victories as well as the mistakes that have led us to our current failing position.

will examine the shift from internal cold war to more active conflict which began with the election of President Barack Obama. He took the activist Left and stoked the fires of grievance. Then he launched them against the country demanding not just change, but a fundamental transformation of America. The answer to Obama and the decades of weakness and retreat by the Republican establishment was the rise of President Donald Trump and the fighting wing of the Right. Well look at how this has unfolded and how close we really are to a true Second Civil War.

is the counterattack. We will identify the types of political, cultural, civic, and professional institutions we need to win. There must be infrastructure and a platform that appeals to our changing demographics. We have ceded the war on the home front to the Left for far too long as we focused our energies on keeping the world safe for democracy. The American Dream is now in jeopardy.

We have lost a number of battles but the war for the future of America is not lost. They roused the big dogs from the porch and now they will deal with the consequences. Its time for the Right to fight. And win.

THE CHANTS OF USA! USA! USA! echoed on the walls of the Capitol that first week of 2021. Protestors were angry about an election they felt was stolen. They pushed through the barricades and the thin line of Capitol Police was quickly overwhelmed. The crowd began to pour up the steps and onto the balconies overlooking the National Mall toward the Washington Monument. They hung a giant American flag from the balustrade on the top balcony.
