Carol S. Cohen, DSW, CSW, is Associate Professor at the Adelphi University School of Social Work, and Chair of the Social Work Board of New York State. Sue Devor, BSW, is a graduate of the University of Toronto. She has worked for the Province of Ontario Department of Welfare, Rehabilitation Branch. Currently, she volunteers at Stop 103 (a food bank) and is a cooking instructor there. She coordinates volunteer drivers weekly for Kosher Meals on Wheels, and supervises dinner preparation for over 100 guests each Thursday night for one of the Out of the Cold programs serving the homeless. Arielle Dylan, MSW, graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Social Work where she is now a doctoral student. She has a special interest in clinical social work and First Nations issues. Dylan resides near and works part time in a First Nations community agency. She also works as a consultant for Homes First Society, a supportive housing provider for hard-to-house people, where she is conducting research and developing an internal crisis response team. George S. Getzel, DSW, is Professor Emeritus, Hunter College School of Social Work of the City University of New York. He has written extensively on aging, crime victimization, HIV/AIDS, group work theory and practice, and value concerns to the profession.
