What Reviewers Say About Karen F. Williamss Work
As the Crow Flies
Long and satisfying. I enjoyed all of the characters andhappenings so much that I just enjoyed the ride. There were two blossomingrelationships in this story and I was equally invested in both. I also felt themystery was carefully unraveled over time. And I was truly stunned at a pointtoward the end. Completely loved this.Bookvark
There are two romances for the price of one in thisfascinating book, and the paranormal elements are skillfully woven through theentire story. Dont worry if youre not a fan of ghost storiesI didnt think Iwas but As the Crow Flies convinced me otherwise. The settings are describedusing wonderful language and imagery, and the quality of the writing is veryhigh. I definitely recommend this book if you want something intellectual and abit different to sink your teeth into.Curve
While all four characters are completely different, theyare all likeable and youll end up rooting for both pairs. There is a ghost inthis storynot the kind of ghost youd normally expect. I see paranormalanything, and I grab it. However, I honestly didnt expect this to be so good.Lez Review Books

[CupidsBow] is a lovely story of unexpected attraction and the hope ofmore. It poses the question of whether one can fall in love at first sight. Andwhether you can make a life changing decision based on that one meeting. Iloved it. Karen F. Williams is an excellent writer with imaginative flair.Kitty Kats Book ReviewBlog

Prologue
New York City
1987
Riley Edith Dawson was born with a tail. All vertebrate animalsbegin life with one, but in humans it recedes during embryonic development toform the coccyx. On rare occasions, however, a baby is born with a fleshyappendage containing nerves and muscle. And rarer still, there may be bone, upto five vertebrae, resulting in a true vestigial tail that can contract andmove andwho knows?maybe wag if left to itself. Such was the case with Riley. The tail was removed, of course, and it wasnt until the age of six, when heradoptive parents moved from Boston to New York, that she learned shed ever hadone.
