This book is dedicated in loving memory to my father, Ruby Rubin. Helived a simple life as a dedicated father of three children, a caringhusband, and a beloved teacher and camp director to thousands ofchildren who benefited from his gentle guidance.

His young adult years were spent in New York City as a passionateliberal, but he gradually shifted as he recognized the hypocrisy ofpolitical correctness, years before the term was even inuse. He was a proud American patriot, often defending the principles offreedom and liberty that America stood for. At the same time, hispassion for the miraculous rebirth of Israel and pride in his Jewishheritage was obvious to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

For all of those reasons, I have no doubt that he would haveappreciated this book, as well as my work on behalf of the terrorvictim children in the biblical heartland of Israel.

May his memory be a blessing for all of our children, especially inIsrael and in the United States of America.
We Strongly Endorse...
Dr. Pat RobertsonChairman and CEO of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN)Host of The 700 ClubThe unholy alliance of Islamic ideologues and secularleftists is undoubtedly the greatest threat to Judeo-Christiancivilization and the USA as we know it today. David Rubin is anAmerican Israeli who lives on the front lines of the war on Islamicterrorism in the Biblical heartland of Israel. He has been a proudIsraeli for many years and has been victimized by Islamic terroristsfor that distinction, but he remains a proud American, as well. As heso poignantly illustrates, the Islamic challenge to Israel and Americais varied in its methods and is certainly global, as is the plague ofmoral relativism in Western society, but the solution at this point intime needs to be much more directly focused, and depends on Americareclaiming its formerly proud Biblical heritage, for that is what madeAmerica great. Last, but not least, we need to be courageous andproudly standing with those who are continuing the biblical mandate ofIsrael in our times and are bravely countering the aggressive Islamicchallenge. David Rubin has written a powerful book about a crucialpartnership for our times. Such a partnership against evil is good forIsrael, good for America, and good for Judeo-Christian civilization.
David Horowitz
Founder and CEO of the David Horowitz Freedom CenterNew York Times Bestselling AuthorOne aspect of the fundamental change that Barack Obamapromised, which has now become disturbingly clear, is the weakening ofAmericas support for our ally Israel and the strengthening ofthe aspirations of our enemies. David Rubin has written a powerful bookthat illustrates the strategic collusion between the aggressiveIslamist forces and the secular Left. Written from the uniqueperspective of an Israeli and American patriot who lives with hisfamily in Israel and has personally suffered the ravages of Islamicterrorism and hatred, The Islamic Tsunami: Israel and America inthe Age of Obama is a unique and compelling read on the imminentand fateful challenges facing our great nation.SE CuppAuthor of Losing Our Religion: The LiberalMedias Attack on ChristianityThe power of semantics has long been used by the Left, bothin America and Israel, to deceptively pin labels on those who fail totoe the politically correct line. American-Israeli author David Rubinhas written a powerful expos of the dual approach adopted bythe Islamic ideologues, in which he demonstrates how they exploit thecynical cooperation and support of their allies on theliberal Left, who bash conservative Americans andno-longer-politically-correct Israel. This strange alliance seems tohave joined hands as they seek to transform American society, all inthe cause of their contradictory versions of liberty.Rev. James M. Hutchens, Ph.DChaplain (Brigadier General) U.S. Army (ret.)President & CEO, The JerUSAlem Connection, IntlHaving his son, toddler Ruby, nearly killed by Jihadists, and being witness to such suffering from terrorism nearly every day dueto his important work initiating and supporting projects for childrenin Israel, David Rubin is particularly sensitive to the needs of theterror victims. Likewise, as a lifetime student of history and a dualcitizen of the USA and Israel, he has an unusual grasp of theconstitutional guarantees of the U.S. founding documents, as well asthe biblical covenants that decree modern Israel to the Jews. With aremarkable depth of knowledge of both the history of the conflict andits current ramifications, Rubin adroitly illustrates the danger of thespread of Islam to our liberty, as well as the harm that theIslam-pandering Obama administration is inflicting on both Israel andAmerica. Reaping the insights of the Founding Fathers of our greatrepublic, as well as biblical heroes like King David and Samuel theProphet, he provides passionate and wise advice to a free people thathas lost its way. David Rubins powerful voice needs to be heardby every American and by every lover of liberty!
Barry Farber
Legendary Radio Talk Show HostIf you saw your children playing with fire in the kerosenedistillery youd raise hell and put a chunk under it. In additionto a galaxy of other worthy historic and political missions, thats exactly what David Rubin does between covers of TheIslamic Tsunami: Israel and America in the Age of Obama. Rubinattacks and destroys those kids responsible for whateverrift is widening between the United States and Israel. He exposes thesuicidal insanity of America and Israel doing anything but interlockingin their firmest embrace ever in the face of Islamic aggression;suicidal, not just for Israel and America, but for civilization itself.Armchairs are great, especially when theyre snugwithin ivory towers belonging to think-tanks, but I prefer mygeo-political scolding from the likes of Rubin who lives in Israel andwas personally attacked by Islamic terrorists along with histhree-year-old son who was shot in the head. This book belongs on thattable close by, where alarm clocks go.
