God, Israel, and Shiloh
We Strongly Endorse...
David Rubin lives in the biblical heartland of Israel and stands on the frontlines of the battle against Islamic terrorism. His book gives a unique insight into the heart of those brave modern pioneers settling the land of the Bible as foretold by the ancient Hebrew prophets.

Chairman & CEO of The Christian Broadcasting Network
Host of The 700 Club

God, Israel, and Shiloh by David Rubin is a magnificent testimony of the faith and courage expressed by our contemporary generation of pioneer heroes. Every one of its pages is soaked in the blood and tears of daily sacrifice, but is imbued with the odyssey of love and faith which brought the Rubin family back to God and back to Israel, while it placed them at the forefront of contemporary Jewish history. I believe it is a must read for anyone who wants to understand the uniqueness of our very unique and fateful generation of return.

God, Israel, and Shiloh is an extraordinary chronicle of the Divinely-ordained return of Jews to their roots and to their ancestral Land. It presents, in very readable fashion, the human and historical background, and the sincere religious commitment and perseverance of the heroic inhabitants of Judea and Samaria, despite the terrorism and other obstacles in their path.
From the ancient hills of Shiloh comes a passionate voice expressing a remarkable clarity of vision about the challenges facing Israel. David Rubins powerful words should be heard and listened to.

Rabbi Dr. Sholom Gold
Rabbi Emeritus Kehilat Zichron Yoseph, Har Nof, Jerusalem Dean, Avrom Silver Jerusalem College for Adults

In this extremely important work, David Rubin takes us on a fascinating spiritual journey through Jewish history, from the exodus from Egypt all the way up to both the tragic and miraculous events in recent years in Israel.

The return to the ancestral lands, the acute pain of terrorism, and the misguided peace plans are clearly explained by one who not only reads about, but experiences first hand, these amazing events every day.

God, Israel and Shiloh is essential reading for anyone who wants to know the facts on the ground from the heartland of Israel.

This book is dedicated to the memory of all of the children of Shiloh, and all the others, who did not survive the terror attacks, whose lives were brutally taken from them for the crime of living as Jewish children in the heart of the Land of Israel.

Introduction

Blood was gushing out of my leg like an open fire hydrant in an inner-city neighborhood. The car had gone totally dead and we were rolling down the road. I turned the ignition and it didnt start, and they were still shooting!
A scene from a horror movie perhaps? No, this was a real-life experience that I could never have foreseen or even dreamed about just twenty years earlier, while I was still living in the United States.

Many people living in America have their own moments of frightening experiences, but one who moves to Israel soon comes to realize that life in Israel is like no other place in the world. From the constant threat of war and terrorism to the often unstable economy in which salaries never seem to rise; from the constant security checks to the prayer services in crowded bus stations, life is clearly experienced on another plane. Then again, the Nation of Israel is like no other nation.

What other nation has been enslaved, then after a miraculous escape, been given the Bible, which has become the all-time bestseller; established its nation in a Land that God sent it to, been driven from its Land and scattered around the world for almost 2,000 years, eventually returning to that tiny territory to reestablish a sovereign nation once again, all exactly as forecast by the Prophets of the Bible? Is this a normal nation?

But you Israel are my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham, My beloved. (Isaiah 41:8)
