P hone calls , texts, email, Facebook updates, Twitter tweets, new Pinterest pins, Instagram pics, news and gossip websites the number of distractions that threaten to destroy our focus is growing. Its no wonder so many people complain that they cant get enough done.

Think about your typical day. Are your thoughts often scattered? Do you have difficulty concentrating on the task at hand? Do the slightest disturbances pull at your attention? If so, youre experiencing a common problem, one that affects millions of people: inadequate focus.

The good news is that theres a simple solution. All you need is a system for developing and strengthening your ability to concentrate. Fast Focus gives you that system in a simple-to-read, easy-to-execute format.

This book is written for you if you who struggle with any of the following issues:

  • You cant seem to get things done in a timely manner. You miss deadlines and your productivity plummets.
  • You tend to put things off. You postpone important tasks, choosing instead to spend your limited time responding to texts, surfing Facebook, and reading news websites.
  • Youre easily distracted. A single text or email pulls your attention away from whatever youre working on, and demolishes your momentum in the process.
  • Youre prone to daydreaming. You find yourself staring off into space, entertaining one or more fantasies when you should be working on the task in front of you.

Can you relate to any of the above challenges? If so, youre in good company. They affect millions of people, including straight-A students, effective managers, and even celebrated CEOs.

What separates the highly-focused individual from someone whos unable to concentrate for more than a few minutes? How do some people manage to master their attention when others seem to be at the mercy of every distraction?

By training themselves to do so.

Few people are born with the ability to focus. For most of us, its a learned trait. A habit. Thats great news because it means we can train ourselves to have singleminded focus when we need it. Like developing any good habit, its just a matter of consistent application until it becomes so deeply-rooted that its automatic.

Think about how true attention mastery will impact your life. Youll be able to finish tasks and projects on time. Youll be better able to do your best work. Youll make faster decisions with greater clarity and confidence. And youll be truly present when you spend time with your family and friends.

And thats just the tip of the iceberg!

Youve probably tried to improve your concentration at some point in your life. Perhaps youve tried (and failed) multiple times. Youre not alone Most of us want to be more productive and effective. Mastering our attention is one of the surest paths toward effecting that goal.

The problem is, without a proven system to follow, such attempts usually end in failure and frustration. They certainly did for me. Ill bet you can relate from experience.

Its important to note that failure has great value. In fact, its the best teacher in the world. We learn more from our failures than from any other outcome. They show us where to improve and give us the opportunity to do so.

Dont be afraid of failure. Embrace it! If youve attempted to improve your focus in the past and failed, try to figure out the reasons. Then, use that knowledge to move forward with purpose. (This action guide will show you how.)

Also, keep in mind that our ability to focus is limited. Its a resource we consume throughout the day, starting from the moment we wake up and lasting until the moment we go to bed. In that light, managing our focus is just as important as developing it in the first place. Well talk more about focus management later in this book.

There are many ways to improve your concentration. But as you might suspect, some ways are better than others. Fast Focus explains the simplest, most effective plan Ive come across. Its the one I use to this day. I use it because it works. Im 100% confident itll work for you, as well. If you put my plan into effect, you
