Why did the Lord command the Israelites to be strong and courageous just before they crossed the Jordon into the Promised Land?

Because they were about to see giants! And they had no frame of reference to deal with such a shock.

Like them, you the reader are encouraged to be strong and very courageous. You will see things in this book that you may have a hard time classifying in your theological or historical paradigms. To understand God and His purposes more deeply, we must understand what He has done eons in the past. Solomons words are true, There is nothing new under the sun. This book will work backwards in time and pull together a mosaic of historical, biblical, archaeological and technological pieces that will paint a picture of creation different than what you may have previously understood.

Many people with even a passing familiarity with the Bible realize that at some point a number of angels rebelled against God during a war in heaven. Most people assume that it happened long ago in the distant past, possibly even before the creation of mankind. The Bible appears, at first glance, to offer only a few hints here and there as to how this history unfolded.

Yet a little careful sleuthing reveals many secrets, and these in turn can be the keys to making sense of obscure or confusing Bible passages. Once the puzzles parts come togetheras we will do in this booka very surprising picture comes into view.

Part of the confusion that obscures the truth comes from a faulty reading and interpretation of the first chapter of Genesis. Understanding this first chapter correctly is key to understanding much of the history of our planet, as well as to unlocking many of the secrets about what awaits mankind in the future.

When we delve into the Hebrew meanings in Genesis, we discover things are even more complex. These Scriptures hint at the end of the pre-Adamic Age, a time before the creation of Adam and Eve, when angels ruled the planet. In them we can discern some secrets as to what our planet was like before the Lord created our present age by making monumental changes to the earth and reseeding it with life.

A Glimpse

The shining tips of pyramids dotted along the countryside as winged creatures soared and swooped through the sky. The very air vibrated in perfect resonance with music that seemed to come from everywhere.

The place, Eridu, was central to this city of the winged population and had stood for thousands of years since the time that the kingship descended from heaven and Alulim took his place on earths throne.

Through the pyramids and monolithic structures embellishing the colorful landscape flowed a form of limitless, clean energy to meet every need of the citys inhabitants. Harvests were plentiful; the Lord God of Heavens creation always basked in His marvelous light and was grateful for the freedom that He gave them to live here.

It was heaven on earth.

Forming Our Earth

Remember putting together a jigsaw puzzle when you were a kid? With your forehead knit in concentration, and biting your lip, you tried different pieces together again and again until finally a piece slid into place. Wanting to duplicate that reward, you continued searching and finding, reward after reward, until, with a sense of satisfaction, you revealed the fully assembled picture.

For the rest of this book, you are encouraged to become a child again and gaze in awe at the wonder of an everlasting God and His works, and perhaps see Him like youve never seen Him before. Set aside your preconceived ideas and ponder these words, and begin to piece together the jigsaw puzzle of time and geographic space that will allow you to view the forgotten picture of earths pre-Adamic history.

To set our mind in the right frame of reference for this journey, let us consider Psalm 90:

Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.

In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.

For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.

Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.

The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Return, O L ord , how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.

Satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.

Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.

And let the beauty of the L ord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

Early Earth

In 1912, German meteorologist Alfred Wegener advanced the continental drift theory, a concept based on the proposition that the land masses on earth were at one time held together in one supercontinent called Pangea, from the Greek word pangaia , which means all the earth. According to Wegener, approximately 299 to 272 million years ago, ALL of terra firma was a solid mass, surrounded by one uninterrupted ocean called Panthalassa.

Wegener postulated that the supercontinent began to break apart during the early Jurassic Period, some two hundred million years ago. Over time, the shifting hunks of land masses formed the continents and the oceans that we know today. Modern geology identifies this shifting of the earths crust, or lithosphere, as plate tectonics, the theory that explains how the continents of the earth continually grind against each other in subduction zones or fault lines.

If you cut out the continents from a map, the pieces seem to pull together into one large land mass. The results are astonishing. With some exceptions, due to erosion and damage, the individual pieces fit together in a single puzzlePangea.
