ENCOUNTER WITH BISOLA HEPHZI-BAH JOHNSON, THE LADY WHO EXPOSED T.B. JOSHUA

The year 2019 has been quite interesting with encounters upon encounters. Some of these encounters with very high esteemed political personalities and some other encounters with clergies and ordinary day people who have something important to talk about for the benefit of society at large.

In this business, we make history, fast phased history and if you fail to create your own circumstance, others will bend your will to create their own circumstance. It is as simple as that!

However, on July 12, we met a rare personality in the person of Lady Evangelist Bisola Hephzi-Bah Johnson, the woman who has gone all out to reveal what appears to be the other (or dirty) side of one of Nigerias famous miracle healing monger, Prophet Abdul-Fatai Temitope Balogun aka Prophet T.B. Joshua, founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).

Two months ago, I had gotten a mysterious call from a concerned Nigerian, who asked if our channel do select, or gives preferential treatment to certain celebrities or individuals for interview to which I replied No. Not at all!

We dont give preferential treatment to people but we equally dont interview fake people or charlatans who know next to nothing than covering their ignorance with deception. We look out for people with genuine opinion in various strata of society and give them opportunity to share their opinion. We leave it at that and watch the democracy of their opinion from our like and dislike buttons. There is a way people venerate what appears to be the truth from what is falsehood with clicks on those unique buttons. This special Nigerian spoke to me about the evangelical works of one Evangelist Hephzi-bah Johnson, the author of the book The T.B. Joshua I Know: Deception Of The Age Unmasked. She followed up with the courier of a copy of the same book to me for review. She said although copies of the book can be found at The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) bookshop in Gbagada area of Lagos, but she insisted sending us a copy which I told her to deliver at our lawyers chambers in Ikeja. I got the copy three days later.

With that, I got speaking with the author, a fair complexioned Nigerian woman with brain and beauty working at per. Evangelist Bisola Hephzi-bah Johnson, from my interaction with her on phone is a very gifted lady with the deep knowledge of Gods Word as well as the theatrics of the devil. She didnt appear like someone with bad brain or a lunatic. She is in firm control of her brain and thinking faculty.

Of course, with that, I was immediately tempted to interview her but on one condition, give me a month to read the entire book. Let me see what you put in the book and that will give me a direction of what to talk about. She didnt mind.

From her disposition, she wasnt even desperate for the interview. She was just passionate about releasing the awareness of the evils of the last day church to a gullible crowd of Christians across the world. She said she feels she will go to hell if she fails to document her experience for Christians to learn from. Of course, many of the things she revealed in that well edited, well copied, well presented and theologically documented book remains in the realms of allegation; but, in life, there is a limit to where or how you can look at a subject matter and still continue to threat such as an allegation. Unfortunately, in this part of Nigeria, we are too sedentary to take serious issues of life and death too serious. We are a set of people who love our quietness, comfort and enjoyment than to bother about what happens around us. We are the Ki ni ka wa se si kind of people (What do you want me to do about it?). We hardly take awareness serious until it becomes life threatening.

The Book, Deception of The Age Unmasked!

By the time I opened the first page of the book after getting a copy from our lawyers secretary, I knew it was a serious matter. The 408 Pages book is a bombshell. I dont know where Evangelist Bisola Hephzi-bah Johnson got the skill, patience, intellect and Christian maturity to pen down those revealing narratives. The book is something extra-revealing and I pray many of our people can get a copy. The Bible encourages us to seek all things both literary and chemistry in order to be able to establish the T-R-U-T-H.
