Jesus is the reason.
Come&Live! Live with Jesus, live on fire, live with the personal conviction that Jesus lives in you.
Be an ambassador of hope. Im telling you to live and walk out your faith. You are to be like Jesus to people around you, youre an ambassador of hope.
Its Christ in you, the hope of glory. You have the opportunity to destroy hell in peoples lives because of the Christ who lives within you. God wants to use you, not just to get people to heaven one day, but its about heaven getting into you now until you get there.
One day well leave this tent and well be with Jesus. But, right now, we get to live fully charged with the Holy Ghost inside usdestroying hell everywhere we go.
Everyday, everywhere we go, there are supernatural encounters just waiting to happen.

Chad Johnson is fearless because he sincerely sees humanity as family. In his new book, One Thousand Risks , Chad shares intense faith-encounters hes had with people simply by getting out of his comfort zone and approaching strangers as the Spirit leads him. This is a real and honest look at a normal guy whos learned to hear Gods voice through trial and error. Chad has thrown fear and insecurity aside, allowing Jesus to use him in radical new ways. After reading One Thousand Risks... will you?

Even for the more skeptical (and lets face it, cynical) among us, its impossible not to feel inspired around Chad Johnson. His faith is something palpable in the air surrounding him, an almost tangible electricity that supercharges everyone he meets, from prominent rock stars to the families living in dire poverty around the world. Chad isnt wearing a costume of piousness. Hes as real and relatable as they come, which makes his persistent joy and insistence on the gospel all the more powerful in real life terms. One Thousand Risks is a book about forsaking the world in pursuit of saving the world, one person at a time, with the absolute trust of a child in the guidance and faithfulness of our Creator.

Engaging, vibrant words point to Jesus ability in granting us the real, true, messy, extravagant life. In a world dominated by comfort and caution, One Thousand Risks takes us powerfully into a different life perspective, one of abandonment and boldness. This book addresses what we all desperately need and never stop wanting: a life more abundant! These stories reveal a shared longing, a desire for more, inviting us toward deeper, wider faith. Chads transparency, authenticity, and practical examples encourage me to exercise and use my faithto continue taking risks and to live bold.

After many years of not seeing Chad he sent me a book called Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus , and I thought Allah is Jesus. What the hell do I know? Later he sent me One Thousand Risks , so I read some, cried a bit, and sent along a few grammar tips. We might not believe all the same things but Chads got quite an energy about him, I think our ancestors came off the same spaceship.

Jesus is not the chaplain to anyones status quo life. He is like the cowboy riding into town on a Saturday night, shooting the place up. Chad Johnson gets that. He took the simple but radical step of opening his life up completely to Jesus. In One Thousand Risks , Chad shows you how you can do the same. You wont regret it.

One Thousand Risks encourages me to deliver hope to the hopeless, and the lost to a Father who loves them more than I can fathom. Chads story stirs me to see people find their identity as radical world-changers, regardless of age, nationality, gender or gifting. This book is calling you and me, all of us, to invest in restoring a hurting world by becoming who we were always meant to be.

One Thousand Risks is a great reminder that God rewards faith, is ever-present in times of struggle, and truly desires to continue working through us, even as He works in us. Any follower of Jesus who wants to develop a life of greater risk in God needs to read this book. Chad Johnson is fighting fear for a messy, extravagant life with Jesus. Now you can too.

Chad is the most innocent, naive, generous, friendly criminal you could ever meet. This guy is just wild. In the same sentence, hes totally sold out to God and Christ, and yet also struggles with everything that everybody else doesalmost like theres this attraction that he has to darkness and light waring inside of him. You dont feel more encouraged than when youre around Chad. There is a real spirituality to Chad that makes you believe. Chad makes you feel great even when youre saying the worst things about yourself.

It is amazing to watch how God is raising up so many unique voices with a passion for Christ-centered living and cultural reformation. Chad shares my heart to raise up a revival generation that lives in the confluence of a zealous love for God and a sincere love for others! May Jesus work through One Thousand Risks to equip you for a life more extravagant than anything you could imagine.

For a cautious, analytical, painfully self-conscious person like me, Chad Johnsons invitation to live a life of risk sounds like an Evite to a combat zone. Thanks for thinking of me, Chad, but no. Still, Ive seen the Spirit of God move through Chads prayers for others and in the life of my own family. Reading One Thousand Risks has been like having my own personal grace-filled, slightly-crazy risk coach nudging me to follow Jesus into places Ive been too scared to go.

I met Chad in 2007 to write a story about him for Relevant Magazine . It was like hopping into a car with an Old Testament prophet. Every time Ive hung out with Chad, Ive walked away inspired to live a more Christ-like, meaningful, beautiful life. Take the journey through this book, and youll be changed too.

Chad is a breath of fresh air to so many who have been disillusioned by Christians. His approachability, humility, and honesty are disarming. One Thousand Risks draws us back to the simple message that we are all dearly loved.

It lights this little flame in me, which I think is probably Chads deal. He goes somewhere and starts a fire in that place and shows people that more is possible. Healing has not necessarily been a known path for me. In my mind, Ive known its possible, that Jesus is all powerful, but I hadnt personally seen or taken part in healing very often. Maybe a handful of times in the ten years since Ive been a believer. So, to have Gods power placed back on the radar with Chad, and then inviting me into it... theres energy, mental and spiritual energy, thats given. Ive seen the Lord work in real time to heal my buddys ear by degrees, what even turned into a beautiful time.
