AUTHOR'S PREFACE
People must awaken to the need for better stewardship of the earth. In Earthkeepers, Art and Jocele Meyer warn, "Because of overpopulation and overconsumption by people today, an ecological crisis has developed. The Lord's earth is being environmentally degraded" (p. 33).
For the church to become a creation awareness center, there must be personal knowledge of what is happening to the earth and its environment. As the good news of the gospel is spread from one individual to another, so must environmental awareness be spread. People knowledgeable about environmental problems and ways to heal them can raise the consciousness of others in the church.
In studying the book of Genesis, I was moved by Genesis 1:2728.
