The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them.

God, there is such order, yet such creativity in all You have made. Such beauty. Such precision. Such forethought. There is no way that this world just appeared. It was designed by You, sovereign God. You are good. You created the trees in all their splendor, the mighty oceans white with foam, and the vast array of animal life. How could I ignore the fact that You also created me so beautifully? My hair and eyes, that little dimple, my smile Even the parts of me that I am not so wild aboutlike those excess freckles and pounds. You made me who I am, Father. I am Your creation. Sometimes my feelings get hurt too easily and I feel like Im not talented enough at many things. But then I remember that to criticize myself is really an insult to You. You made me, and You created a masterpiece when You did. Mankind is Your greatest creation, Father. We are able to relate to You as our God. Help me to find peace with my identity in You. Even though I may need to gain or lose some weight or get into better shape, help me to accept my body type and to praise You for it. Show Yourself strong in the areas where I know I am weak. This will point me even more clearly to You, Lord. If I could do it all on my own, I wouldnt need You as my sovereign God. I love You, Lord; and I thank You for making me to be me. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

God, You see my heart. You see more than appearances; You see motives. You are sovereign. You see all and know all. There is no hiding my motives from You. Help me to be true to who I say I am in Christ. May my motives and desires reflect who You are. Just as a child resembles a biological parent, I want to look like You.
