If you are ever in need of a little encouragement or inspiration, Life in Season is the book for you. Chapter after chapter and page after page are full of beautiful photos and inspirational projects. But what truly spoke to me about the book was that Heathers and Vanessas hearts are written into every line. Life in Season is truly a treat for the soul.

Its a whole new perspective on DIY! This book adds a fresh layer to the art of creating a lovely home and welcoming friends. Not only will you find some great, doable ideas, but youll find encouragement and life-giving lessons through each project. I picked it up thinking it would inspire me to improve my home and hostess skills and put it down feeling grateful for the woman God has created me to be. Its a great read for anyone wanting to improve their home and their heart.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV
We would like to dedicate this book to our parents, Michael and Carol, who wove a love of words into the very fiber of our beings, you were the first storytellers in our lives. You might not have been able to help us much with math, but we freely give you credit for all of those As we received in our English and language classes. You will always be our very first editors. You are both incredibly gifted writers and we share this dream come true with you. Most importantly, we are forever grateful for the solid foundation you gave us of faith in Jesus Christ and the example of what it looks like to live for Him and love others with His love. Your constant support and encouragement have carried us through all of lifes seasons and we are so very thankful that you are not only our parents but our friends as well. We love you both so much and promise to get you those T-shirts made with our faces on them as requested.
We would also like to dedicate this book to our grandmothers, Opal Reddin and Beryl Kaiser-Underwood. One a professor, one a farmers wife, both lovers of the written word, but more importantly, both women who loved the Lord and followed Him until their very last breath here on earth. The legacy they left behind will make an impact for generations to come.
CONTENTS
INTRODUCTION
In 2010, two sisters began dreaming of a community. They imagined women walking out of their front doors and meeting neighbors and friends where their fences intersected. They would talk over the pickets, drink coffee, swap recipes, share a great home dcor idea or two, and invest in each others lives. This community would be where they could laugh together over their childs latest antics and cry together over the difficult things in life. This community would be where they could talk about God and His plan for them.
