Steve Wyborney stepped into his first classroom in the fall of 1995. Since that time, Steve has been a classroom teacher, a building instructional coach, a district math coach, and has spent six years as a looping teacher. Steve was named the 2005 Oregon Teacher of the Year, has received the L. E. Wesche Outstanding Educator Award, and was a national finalist for the Kinder Excellence in Teaching Award.

Steve frequently presents at conferences, and eagerly shares his learning, tools, and strategies with fellow educators. He is well-known for his passion for mathematics, instructional technology, and writing.
