Meditation has taught me to have patience within myself. Sitting in a comfortable position and breathing was never easy for me. What I didnt initially understand is the importance of having consistency in sitting still and breathing for a preset amount of time was helpful. There were many times my thoughts were not calm, painful even. I found taking things one-step at a time was key.
