Sir, We love to be in your classes, you changed our lives.

This is the 12 th and possibly my final book in my MaguntaDayakar Art Class Series. I would like to finish this series with a collectionof my abstract realistic paintings for my readers who are interested in lookingat my paintings. All these paintings have been done from imagination. Alongwith these paintings, I have published some important tips about painting andpainter's requirements.

Regarding my books, I had written my first book How To Start A Painting And How To Plan It? under some special circumstances.Thousands of art students from my country requested me to teach online, but Iwas not interested in online teaching. But nevertheless, I used to getcontinuous requests. To solve this issue, I decided to write a book for starterssince I always had more regard for books.
So my first book HowTo Start A Painting And How To Plan It? was released and it became successful.I received very good appreciation for it. That appreciation boosted myconfidence and also inspired me to write more books. My second book How To Finish A Painting? is continuation of my first book. After that I written my third book on Imagination titled Painting Landscapes from Imagination , fourth book on Composition titled Learn Composition And Create Beautiful Paintings , fifth book on Color titled Simplified Color Schemes for Art Students all these books have becomesuccessful. Later I shared my understanding on painting in general through a fewmore books (Books 6 and above). These books were on various topics that used tocome up for discussion with my students in my Art classes. They are of help forserious Art students.
The format of my books focuses on the common problems faced by students, thedoubts which arise in them when they work, for all of those I answered fromstudent's point of view rather than by providing step by step examples, which Idon't believe will be very useful. Also, I am not using my books to show casemy paintings. Some of the examples I have used in my books may not bebeautiful, because not every beautiful painting will serve as a good example toexplain the science behind painting approaches. I only used those paintingswhich are useful to explain painting approaches in depth.
Coming to the success of this series ... most people liked these books, fewpeople did not. It happens everywhere, you cannot satisfy everyone. But Ienjoyed sharing my knowledge through these books.
Here I am remembering one common comment made by my students... ' Sir, we loveto be in your classes, you changed our lives.''
What more can I want from life being an artist? .

AbstractRealism

What is Abstract Realism?
Creating realistic illusion by juxtaposing abstract shapes is called as ... Abstract Realism.
I have written about what abstract realistic painting approach is in my 10 thbook titled AbstractRealistic Painting Approach Why it is the right approach for artists?
If you are interested about it please go through it. In fact, for any realisticpainter, it is the only approach to create realistic paintings powerfully. There is no other way.
I strongly believe that if it is not possible to copy a realistic painting, that painting has the quality to surprise the viewer. Surprise is the keyelement for drama. I feel most of my paintings have this surprise and drama.
Whether your paint applications are done with brush or knife, if they areintertwined with different shapes, tonal colours, textures and structured withgood composition, those paintings will have that element of surprise and drama.
Finally, I will be grateful if you canshare your opinion after looking at these paintings. Ultimately it is everyartist's burning urge to enlighten whoever sees his work.

Few things about how I paint.

I paint my abstract realisticpaintings with the material shown in the above - photo 1

I paint my abstract realisticpaintings with the material shown in the above figure.
500 ml acrylic paint bottles, a large painting knife, a one and half inch shorthandle brush, a one inch long handle bristle brush, a one fourth inch longhandle bristle brush and a long handle round brush.
That's all. No more no less.
I mix paint directly on canvas rather than using a pallet. Only very rarely Iactually use the pallet.
I use white very less in color mixing to keep colors close to their chroma.
I paint only from imagination; I don't like to work from Nature or from photographsbecause I believe imagination is more powerful than any other sources.
You can see my painting approach in my other books, LearnComposition And Create Beautiful Paintings or SimplifiedColor Schemes for Art Students
Ninety nine percent of my paintings are done with painting knife. Working withknife will help me to create intriguing shapes and interesting textures.Textures will bring the pictures to life.
Whenever I paint with knife I never think that I am using a knife. To me it isonly a tool to apply paint on my picture space.
When painting is in progress, moment to moment I will analyse the shapes, values, colors and composition aspects. I will continue that analysis andapplications till I captured what I want on the canvas. I try to get realisticillusion through establishing value relations between elements by usingcomposition.
To understandvalue relations you must understand about TONE without any confusion. I amgiving an excerpt from my book ' STRAIGHT TALK ON PAINTING AND PAINTER'SPROBLEMS' which explains on this topic below.

Q. I heard in all color applications understanding ' Tone ' is very difficult. Is it true?

A. Yes. Truly it's difficult.
Q. Interesting. First I would like to know clearly about it. Can you explain?
A. Sure. Tone is related to color. When you mix grey with color it will becomeTone. You also call it tonal color. To explain more about it, for example takethe word skin tones. Skin tone means skin color. But we won't use the word skincolor, instead of it we use the word skin tone. The reason ... we won't see anyparticular color there to define. We may call it white, brown, black but it'snot true. It's only our feeling.
Q. Just a moment. Are you saying skin has no color?
A. Yes. Skin has no color. Not only skin, whatever we are seeing in Nature hasno color. What we are seeing is tonal color.
Q. Interesting what you are saying. We are used to see so many colors in thenature. That's why we say colorful Nature but you are saying there is no color
A. It's true. Every color what we see in nature is tone or tonal color. Youwon't see any pure colors in nature. Even you see some of the things likeflowers they are also affected by light and atmosphere. Result we seeeverything in tonal color, To do successful painting every art student has tounderstand tonal color.
Q. What you are saying is surprising. Please tell me about this tonal color...
A. Sure. Already I explained to you about greys. Those greys will playimportant role in making a tone. There are two kinds of greys. One is, whenyou mix white with black the result is Grey. You call this one, achromaticgrey. And next one is complementary grey. If you mix a color with itscomplementary co lor , the outcome is Complementary grey. If you mix anyone of these greys with any color that willbe a Tone. This you can also call Tonal Color. Tone is related to color. It'svery important to understand this. In painting applications you can also callit as tonal value.
Q. Tonal value ...
A. Yes. Like color every tonal color also has some value. That value ismeasured through value scale or grey scale whatever name you may call it by.You call that value 'Tonal Value'. We paint most of the pictures in tonalcolors so you should know the value of those colors in value scale. If you knowthis you will have a strong foundation to do a successful painting.
