T his book is dedicated to Professor Walter H. Beuttler D.D. (1904-1974) whose ministry I had the privilege of experiencing at Northeast Bible Institute near Philadelphia, PA. His teachings on satan, Job, and The Lords Prayer are the foundation of this study on spiritual warfare. In fact, this book would not have been written if it were not for the impact of these teachings on my life. I want to thank his daughter Norma, and her husband Glenn, for giving me permission to incorporate his teachings into this workbook.

If ever a person knew Gods heart and was able to reveal it to His people, this man did. He cultivated an intimate relationship with Christ in a way few people ever have. He paid whatever price God demanded of him to have the anointing of the Presence of God when he taught and ministered. The Holy Spirit revealed to him gem after gem of spiritual truth to share with the Body of Christmany times being awakened in the middle of the night. He left an impeccable legacy of how to live a godly life, and that it is possible for a human being to have an intimate walk with a holy God.

His death was a tremendous loss to the Body of Christ. He is sorely missed, even today, by those who knew and loved him. I liken this study to a lake. You can skim its surface by doing the very minimum of watching the videos and reading each lessons summary and the three appendices. This will give you an adequate overview of the message of the book. Or, you can descend as deep as you want to go by reading each page, highlighting truths that impact you, making your own notes, looking up Scripture references, and asking the Holy Spirit to enlighten you as you further contemplate the material. As with anything, you will only get out of this study what you put into it.

Actually, this workbook is designed to become more valuable to you after you complete the study. Whenever you encounter spiritual warfare, use it often as a reference book to gain a better perspective, awareness, and insight into your situation; to discern the tactic being used against you; and how God would direct you to respond in order to achieve victory.
