INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this book is to encourage those that are just becoming familiar with the word of GOD, and to let them know some key things that may be helpful in helping them to increase their faith and growth in CHRIST, while also informing them to place their life in Gods hands and turn to Him and away from Satan. While looking at life as a new Christian the Bible tells us that we should love the Lord with all our hearts (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). To follow and keep his commandments and to speak of HIM everywhere we go and to whomever we may meet.

When JESUS was ascending into heaven he commanded us to preach the word he has given us ,by spreading His word to every nation and taking time to reach out to those in need. The bible tells us about repentance and baptism; it teaches us about giving up our old ways to follow God and about asking him to purify our hearts. In ACTS 16:31 THE Bible tells us to give ourselves up to him (GOD) and take ourselves out of our own keeping and to entrust ourselves into His keeping.

Therefore when we set aside our flesh and humanly desires we are allowing God to do what he has planned for our life. In Thessalonians 2:15 the Bible tells us to stand firm in our faith and the way we live for God. In life our faith and trust must remain unshakeable so that no matter what tactics the enemy may use we will be able to maintain a leveled head, persevering through all the obstacles thrown our way with all hope and trust rooted in GOD.

As you read this book may it help to enlighten you to the word and will of God. May your heart and soul find some small measure of comfort in what it been shared with you for it is truly a blessing to know and be able to understand God for yourself, I encourage you to stand firm in your faith ,put your hope and trust in God for he will never leave nor forsake you.

DEDICATION

First and foremost I dedicate this book to Jesus my savior and my best friend without him I would never have had the ability to be able to write. I also dedicate this book to my daughters Aniya Taylor and Imani Adewale; with hope that they themselves will experience the power of true salvation and the Love of God that it may dwell within them and I pray that they will become living vessels for God and win souls. This book was written for anyone who desires to know the will of God and live for Him.

Chapter One: Do You Know Who You Are?

Many people live a life filled with despair wishing and hoping that on today they may receive an answer to that unanswered question or maybe even a long overdue phone call from a ex lover that may have gotten away. However, this is the problem because we as people seem to have forgotten how to love, how to live and most importantly we have forgotten that God will never forsake us nor put more on us than we can bare. Living life as a born again Christian it is so important for us to know and understand who we are in CHRIST. I believe that with all the trials and tribulations that one may endure on a daily basis it is often difficult to remind ourselves that we are actually children of the highest God. As a born again Christian we must remind ourselves that we are not just Christians but remind ourselves of what God says we are.

1. More Than conquerors- this means that we must first believe enough in ourselves to know that we are conquerors because if we dont believe that we are conquerors we cannot act on being anything more than what we accept and believe we are. Therefore we will never experience the true fulfillment as stated in 2 Corinthians 5:209(KJV) that says that not only are we more than conqueror it states that In all things we are more than conqueror through Him that love us.
   
2. An ambassador For Christ: We must recognize that we are on assignment from God in this earth; the things we do must represent the presence of God in our life and reign from within us. I believe that we have forgotten that this earthly place of which we reside and call home is surely Gods world and we are only part-time tenants awaiting our lease (life) to be terminated (death).It is because of our lack of knowledge and understanding of who we are that we have lost sight of the true purpose of our existence. We fail to realize that the kingdom of God (heaven) is our final destination, it is our only source of comfort a place of refuge and peace.(Romans 8:17)
   
3. Heirs of God, Joint heirs That simply means that we are joint participants with JESUS CHRIST, just as he has a line to God so do we... Just as he is a child of God so are we. We are joint heirs with Christ. So how can we as people or more importantly how can we as Christians confess out of our mouths that we are aware of THE-Living BOOK-The WORD of GOD; And yet when trials and tribulations start to put us under fire and test our faith we allow ourselves to push God completely out of the picture and lose sight of who we are in God and who we are destined to be as Christians.
   

On earth we are part-time tenants but I wonder when we let go of God and began to push him to the side because of our lack of faith and commitment to him does this make us part-time Christians. Knowing who we are and where we stand in Christ is very important and a major factor in being a true Christian, because if we are unaware of this how can we progress further in our Christian lives and our walk in God.

Chapter Two: Reaching Out To Win Souls

Proverbs 11:30- He that winneth souls is wise. As Christians we must be committed to reaching out to others and winning souls. We must grown to be committed to live holy lives, and not to anyway compromise the truth within the word of God and to show genuine love one to another as Christ loves us. All across the world there are people who have a desire to establish a relationship with Christ, but they have not; is it because of a lack of faith and knowledge of God, or even because no one has taking a moment out to talk to them about true Christianity.

Sometimes if we would just commit ourselves to reaching out to someone else in need we just might be the cause of someone receiving salvation. When we know Christ as our personal savior and we are aware of his grace and mercy; why not share our knowledge of him and his greatness with others because we are familiar with his marvelous wonders and we ourselves know what he can do.

There are so many people in the world just sitting back and letting their life slip away and yet some of us ,yes even us Christians are trying to live what we believe a Christian life should be however we dont understand , nor realize that without God we are going in the wrong direction and headed for the wrong destination.

Although we are human and we sometimes make the wrong choices within our lives we dont always see how easy it is to follow the wrong paths in our very own lives. Even when it comes to things as small as a prayer we can sometimes become distracted by our wants and needs and we forget all about the blessings we already have. We need to help our fellow brothers and sisters learn to pray and reach God as well as help them learn to help others. Sometimes it can be so easy to get pulled into a habit of praying the wrong prayer.
