H I, MY NAME is Bill Wiese, and I am the author of the New York Times best seller 23 Minutes in Hell. By writing this book, Recession-Proof Living, I am not in any way abandoning my priority to share my twenty-three minutes in hell experience. I have been speaking about this full-time around the world during the past five years and will continue. That mission is my life and will not change.

The reason for writing this book is to give people a glimpse into my life prior to my experience and including seven years beyond. These true stories show how a commitment to the Lord has led me to prosper despite many challenges. I hope you glean the little wisdom I have gained during my thirty-five-year real estate career and apply it to your life in order for you to succeed. The basis for it all is Gods Word, and it will work for anyone, even during difficult economic periods.

This book is not simply about how to make money, but rather, how to develop the character needed to succeed in any economic time.

I learned there is only one way to achieve success in all areas of life. Now I was not a millionaire, nor a financial genius, but just the average guy going to work with the average job. And I had my share of challenging circumstances
