Naming is the origin of all particular things.
Free from desire, you realize the mystery.
Caught in desire, you see only the manifestations.
Yet mystery and manifestations arise from the same source.

Introduction
We are on the brink of a great revelation;
I am not the revealer.
We are on the brink of a great revelation;
this is my role.
We are on the brink of a great revelation;
What is your role?
If you were drawn to read this book, you are probably not at all surprised by the assertion that we are on the brink of a great revelation. In fact, many who are reading this book have been anticipating this revelation for most of their lives. Bear in mind that with any revelation, there also comes the breaking down of interfering structures. All of us have these structures, and we have come to depend upon them, even if we havent realized it.
There are several distinct writing styles applied in this book expressly for resolving the blocking structures of our lives. Sometimes the teachings come in through inspiration meant to elevate the reader into the frequencies of consciousness; conversely, there is the introduction of certain vital tools that, when practiced regularly, greatly assist in the unfoldment process; and finally there are the teachings that elucidate the disharmonious nature of the mind so that we can begin to see it clearly. When we understand more fully how the mind blocks us from realization of the fundamental truth throughout all that is, it is much easier to tune to the alternative, which is consciousness. The teachings of the mind are quite elaborate, and, unless we are totally familiar with the nature of the mind, we will be unaware as to when we are tuned to the mind. In such a case we will continue to be entrapped in mind, not realizing that there is another option, consciousness.
One of the primary purposes of this book is to so elucidate the differences between consciousness and mind that the reader will immediately begin noticing when they are tuned to mind, which is the source of suffering, and in so realizing, choose to tune to consciousness instead. As we continually observe the mind and choose to tune in to consciousness, liberation reveals itself.
In this work I often use the word spiritual for ease of communication. It is an easily misconstrued word. In truth all things are equally spiritual, so we should be careful not to attach a feeling of special to it. Unfoldment and realization are two other words that are commonly employed as well. Unfoldment as I use it indicates radical simplification, while realization indicates being aware of something that had previously gone unnoticed. None of these words are associated with becoming, growing or attaining.
In this work, I include many of the visions that have served in my unfoldment process. I have endeavored to record them as accurately as possible, free of personal belief. The value of these visions is in their service to your unfoldment process.
This book is written entirely through connection with the unnamable, the Tao. Of course, for the sake of communication, we must have a word, so Lao-Tzu used Tao, and I use Isness or Soul. But lets not get caught up in these names, as they mean nothing in particular. This book was written for those who are ready for revelation. As this book has been written for the purpose of revealing what lies beneath, it will bring up hidden disharmonies within the reader. We may feel anxiety and fear. We may feel frustration or anger. We may feel as if something is blocking us from going further. That something is what lurks beneath, not wanting to be seen. These blockages are the internal structures that apocalypse breaks down to reveal the truth within.
I recommend that readers, before reading, put themselves into as calm and unconditionally loving a space as possible. And only after the dust settles do we read. When the dust rises, we calm again, allowing the dust to settle before we continue. In this way, we can read and receive the true power of this message, a power that goes well beyond words.
Many blessings,
Richard L. Haight

~Part 1 My Story~
Since my late teens, I have been compelled to write down all the spiritual visions and insights that I have had in my life. I knew it would result in a book that would help to elevate mankind out of the frequencies of disharmony and into the frequencies of harmony. What I didnt understand at the time was how my personal story would be of service to anyone else and how those stories would tie together in a meaningful way that would assist people in their unfoldment process. I did not want a bunch of interesting personal stories that were of no practical service to anyone else. What would be the point of that?
Not until I began teaching weekend intensive meditation retreats did all of the missing information that ties everything together in a harmonious whole, in a deeply practical message to the world, begin to flow. I was to write the story of my life and tell how that story wove the tapestry of spiritual unfoldment and how spiritual unfoldment wove the tapestry of my life. One cannot be extricated from the other, because its through our lives that spiritual unfoldment occurs.
My deepest prayer is that this story be of assistance to others, helping them to understand how spiritual unfoldment and vision flow through their lives. My life is no more special than anyone elses, but it serves as a workable example of practical daily unfoldment. Its my prayer that your life is an even better example.
~Chapter 1 The Promise~
I grew up on a horse ranch in rural Southern California, where sagebrush and chaparral foothills seemed to stretch on forever. During summer months, the neighborhood kids would spend dawn to dusk in those hills, playing cowboys and Indians, hide-and-seek, and war; building forts; constructing teepees from dill weed and dried grass; hiking the eucalyptus-strewn hills and valleys; and swimming in the lakes. Life was simple and full of adventure, until one day when everything changed.
After our wargame ended one afternoon, an older kid told us that his mother would be teaching Bible study at their house the following evening and that we should all attend. I had no idea what the Bible was, but after being told that wed burn in Hell for not attending, we all signed up on the spot.
