with his deedsand his words.
FOREWORD
For more than forty-years, I have been helping people manifest their dreams and achieve their maximum potential. As an inspirational speaker and best-selling author, I have provided my audiences and readers with powerful words and thoughts to help them transform their lives. I have come to know that sometimes the simplest words can make a major difference in how people perceive and interact with their world.
This book can make that same difference to you. With a collection of simple yet profound ideas, this little volume of BIG ideas can change your life. Allen Klein, who is also a motivational speaker and best-selling author, has artfully collected words of wisdom from sages throughout the agesquotations that will make your heart sing, and thoughts that will bring focus, perspective and empowerment to your life.
One of the fun things you can do with this wonderful book is to simply open it to any page and read one of the quotations. Those words just might be the exact words you need to hear that day.
Or you can share this book with someone elsea someone who is celebrating a special occasion such as a graduation, birthday, or anniversary. Or, better yet, give them this book for no reason at all. Your random act of kindness will enrich their life and deepen yours through the simple act of giving.
You can also search the table of contents to find encouraging thoughts on a particular subject you might be struggling with, such as taking the first step, overcoming obstacles, or gathering your courage.
How you make use of this book really doesnt matter. What does matter is that you use it. I know it will enrich your life and provide you with big ideas that can make a big difference in your life.

INTRODUCTION
It has always amazed me how one simple quotation can change someones life. I probably shouldnt be surprised because, throughout my life, I have used such things as quotations and affirmations to help me through trying times.
Still, I have received a number of letters from readers who found the perfect quotation in one of my books. It spoke directly to them and altered their life in a very dramatic and profound way.
One young teenager, for example, wrote to tell me that her Dad had given her the quotation book as a gift. She never opened it. Then a couple of months later, her father died. She picked up the book and found a quotation that reminded her of him. She put his picture in the book to mark that page and reads those words of wisdom everyday.
Another woman wrote me that for fifty-five years she had never told anyone about being raped when she was twelve years old. She carried that anger and rage around all those years until she found a quotation about taking back ones power. It has given her strength, hope, and courage. She said, It has changed my life.
Like the above examples, somewhere in this book there are probably some wise words that call out to you. There is a reason they do. They are your guiding light. They can help you through your trying times, too. And who knows, perhaps even change your life.
